Countryside, day trip. - I highly recommend the tour trip with Tony as a guide He was an excellent listener and took us to see wonderful places to the country side just 30’ from Bodrum. He answered to our questions patiently and showed us how the locals live The tour included delicious food and a few surprises for you to discover on your own ,all for an excellent price !!!Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Loved this tour - The drive to the village was about 30+ minutes and on a narrow road with hairpin turns. But the village was wonderful. Watching a lady make carpets and the lunch includes was great!!!

Bodrum Village Tour should not be Missed - This was a private tour at group tour rates. We were picked up at the port and drove about 35 minutes to the village. If you want to experience what life is like in a Turkish rural village and enjoy great food, this tour should not be missed. Our personal guide showed how people still live today in a village of 400 people that has been there for many generations. Walking through the village and visiting in their homes was something you do not want to miss. The lunch was included for the reasonable price and was a selection of 9 different dishes and all were great with two different breads. There was a rug demonstration but no pressure to purchase. We cannot say enough good things about this activity and we were very pleased and I know you will be too.

Private Bodrum Village Tour - The Private Bodrum Village Tour was phenomenal. I highly recommend to anyone interested in an authentic experience. This tour offered an opportunity to witness traditional rugmaking first hand, enjoy a Turkish meal (very tasty) and visit a local Bodrum village. The tour hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable. Well worth every penny.

Etrim Village Tour - The Village and the life within the Village was lovely. The people were warm and welcoming. The provided lunch was “over the top, delicious.” If you should have any reservations of learning about the intricate details inside a mosque or viewing Turkish rugs to “buy” then you should say so in the beginning of this tour. The opportunity to meet the eldest (89 years young) woman in the Village, of 400 people, who graciously opened her home to us was an unexpected BONUS.

Unforgettable experience! - This was such an amazing and unique experience! The drive to the village was beautiful. You arrive in a completely different world. The history and techniques and patterns were so well explained and the passion for this art form is palpable. It was great to be able to experience weaving a few rows of beautiful carpet and make new friends. And the lunch was soooooo delicious. I ended up buying 2 gorgeous carpets and they shipped them home for me for free! Unforgettable experience.

Unique Alternative to Shopping but Modest - The operator was overbooked and overwhelmed. The driver guide did not speak English and, therefore, said nothing on entire 40 minute ride to the village. Others with similar private tours said their drivers pointed out highlights along the route. Village guide also inexperienced. Very nice and earnest, but not well prepared. We partially overheard other groups that were given much more depth and information. Overall mediocre.

Private Village Tour - The issue with this booking unfortunately was that we booked through Tripadvisor for a private village tour but many things were not as advertised. When we arrived it felt like no one was expecting us despite the booking and they scrambled to find us a guide. I can’t fault the people in the village as they were lovely as was the food. However the organisation from the company was poor and then our private transfer back was with another group. I would caution people if booking that many aspects of the description for a private village tour is not as advertised.
