Highlights
- Bodo Domkirke - At the cathedral, we pause to reflect on the bombing of the city on May 27th, 1940, including the events that transpired at the church itself.
- Norwegian Aviation Museum - We make a brief stop outside the Norwegian Aviation Museum as we pass by.
- Bodosjoen Friluftsomrade - At Bodøsjøen, we explore the outdoor museum featuring a collection of historic buildings and their stories.
- Jektefartsmuseet - While at Bodøsjøen, we view the Jekt (a type of boat) trade museum from the outside, learning about its tales of fish and trade.
- Bodo Bunkermuseum - The restored Luftwaffe communication bunker at Jentofthaugen offers a unique experience. As a volunteer-run museum, we cannot guarantee it will be open, but we will visit if it is.
- Bodo krigshistoriske museum - This museum is open only two days a week during the summer, with a volunteer guide. It is not included in our tour, but after the tour, you can rent a bike to visit on your own if it is open. We will assist you in finding it.

Join in! A comfortable eBike ride allows us to visit historic WW2 sites with ease and within a reasonable time range.
Entering a machine gun bunker and a restored Luftwaffe communications bunker (museum - provided it is open!) are two of our highlights. And in between those we visit several places with both well known and more hidden stories from the second world war. The Napoleon wars are also worth mentioning. . .

WW2 guided bike tour in Bodø - We joined the first guide biketour "World War II Historic e-Bike Tour in Bodø". The trip was very interesting with well known highlights and surprisingly unknown historic facts and suprises! Both the bike-guide from Opplev Nord/Experience North and the guides in Jentofthaugen Bunker Museum was exellent! Recomended tour for locals and visitors!
