Just get on the bus! Worth the money and you couldn't do it on your own. - I've done quite a few Big Bus tours in different places and without doubt this is one of the best. You get a really good map and guide. It's incredibly easy to do a walk from one stop to another through waterfalls, trails, views, panoramas etc and catch up with the next bus. They all come on time, the drivers are incredibly helpful and pleasant. I did think about driving around, parking and it really isn't worth it. Just get on the bus! You won't regret it.

Go go go - This is a really convenient bus ride, and the driver is extremely nice and friendly. You can take the bus to many good points of view.

Best tour especially if you are afraid of heights. - Right from the staff at the booking office to the great informative bus driver the whole hop on hop off experience was great, could not fault it, but could fault the weather. I have been here many times, but my poor friend had not and due to low cloud he could not see anything. Which just means we have to go again, YAY!

A must when visiting the blue mountains! - The Blue Mountains Explorer bus was a huge help for our visit to this region. The enthusiastic drivers provided good information about the stops and walks, and the guidebook provided made choosing from the various stops and walks much easier. In short: a lovely way to spend a day in the beautiful Blue Mountains!

Enjoyable experience - We thoroughly enjoyed the HOHO bus ride in Katoomba and Leura. Our bus driver, Angus, kept the passengers entertained with his commentary and songs.

Great tour - Great tour if you have no transport of your own and only limited time. Good for families. Hop off, take a walk, hop on and so on, great concept!

Just walk if you can - If you have a pushchair or limited mobility this might be useful. For us (a moderately fit 56 yo couple) this was as much use as a chocolate teapot. There is one bus that operates a loop that takes 1 hour - just walk where you want to go, a d catch uber or local bus as you need it

Amazing. Shame about the rude booking staff member - Bus drivers were amazing, very knowledgeable and spot on with the timetable. However when we got to the office to collect our tickets which we only came across by change and thought we just needed a map as we had a barcode from our online booking. We waited patiently in the queue for sometime on the left hand side. There were a large number of people passing by us and getting their tickets, there was no system. After a while I moved to the other side to collect my tickets. I was greeted by an extremely rude member of staff. I said good morning we’ve booked online and wondered if we could have a map. She said you have pushed in!!!! She was very rude. So when I explained nicely that we had been waiting sometime and other were being served as soon as they walked in. She snapped Show me your booking receipt!! again in a very rude manner. I was very upset by her so my sister came over to try and get things sorted. She told my sister I demanded a map. This is a total lie and I would never be rude like that. Other than that rude person, it was brilliant. I would recommend this tour as it is absolutely amazing and the drop off and pick ups were well organised.

Rent your own car and skip scenic world - Underwhelming to say the least. If you’ve ever been to national parks in Canada, Switzerland, US, etc..you will most likely be disappointed with Scenic world. This is heavily advertised but not properly presented. Understaffed and long lines. Hop on and off bus only circulates stops once an hour so you will find yourself stuck in large crowds just waiting. The whole experience is just a let down. (Underfunded parks in the US offer free tram service more frequent than the hop on and off bus) Rent your own car and skip scenic world
