Favorite part of the trip! - This was an excellent adventure. Gorgeous scenery, the ice cave was good, not natural but man-made. But it was still super cool to see. My husband and I took our 4 boys. Ages 7-17 and they all absolutely loved it.

Snowmobile remains amazing!!! - The snowmobile was amazing. I would have liked it to be a little faster. The journey there was quite an experience. I don't like the cave. But a nice guide and I would climb on a scooter like that again!!

No fuss, all fun! - No fuss, friendly staff, transported and kitted up then straight on the snowmobiles. There was no long winded safety brief, just to the point and let's go! The heated handle bar grips were an unexpected bonus. The ice cave was basic but interesting at the same time. We had our 10 year old with us and would highly recommend this trip.

You have to experience it even once in your life - A splendid day, for me, who comes from a tropical country, the experience was dreamlike, driving through the snow at sunset is truly memorable. They provide all the equipment for the experience and explain in a simple way how to handle the equipment, they were always attentive to everything. Recommended.

Exhilarating! - Staff was incredibly helpful and impressive! Snowmobiling was such an incredible experience; it made up for the ice cave. The ice cave is man-made and not exactly what I was expecting, but I still 100% recommend this tour!

Underwhelming ice-cave and short snow mobile drive - Unfortunately, the tour wasn't really what we expected and I wouldn't recommend it if you are expecting a natural ice cave. As many people have written before, it takes quite long to go to the basecamp (70-80min) one trip and the tour as such is quite short. In the tour description we got it wasn't clear that the ice cave is artifical / man-made - so that was underwhelming. However, our tour started and finished on time and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Due to the size of the group, everything took quite long, the overall Snowmobile driving experience was therefore quite short. We were lucky as our group to the ice cave was small and more agile. Overall, I think it is overpriced for what is offered.

Very disappointing - After an hour long ride to the base camp with no guide explaining the surroundings, we finally arrived to get in our snowsuits and go snowmobiling. We were only given one snowmobile even though we thought we would each have one. The snowmobiling only lasted about 45 minutes. So expensive for such a short time and for sharing a snowmobile. My main reason for booking was to see the ice cave. No mention of the ice cave was given to us at any time. Once we returned to Gullfoss, I inquired and was told we didn’t have time to see it. Extremely disappointed!

Meh - Snow mobiling was fun itself but noticed the staff were really mardy and rude with people who made mistakes when learning how to snow mobile, I don’t know why you’d work in this job if you’re going to have such little patience for tourists who are obviously going to make these mistakes. Made the experience difficult to enjoy. Drove the snow mobiles for 30 min, 10 min break, 30 min drive back and then ushered back on the bus and back to the drop off. Absolutely no sign of an ‘ice cave’ which is 50% of the reason we booked, asked and was told not today..

Nightmare in Iceland - We booked the tour with the timing 2pm-6pm. We did not depart the pick up area until 2:45pm and returned at 7:30pm! There are more than 50 people in a group! Everything takes forever. You snowmobile in a slow line and then go in an ice cave that is not worth seeing at all. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Do not recommend- Poor experience, treated and herded like animals, did not see ice cave. - 1st, tour pick up was over 1 hour late after telling me someone would be there in 10 minutes. We could have explored the fall instead of waiting in the parking lot. 2nd, we were packed like cattle into a truck. It was over an hour ride to get to the ice cave and snowmobile excursion. 3rd, no ice cave tour and did a quick slow ride in a loop over old snowmobile tracks. Not the small group excursion we expected. I was told in their mind a small group was 60 people or so. If you have never experienced snow or snowmobiling then this may suit otherwise stay away from this place. Focus seems to be more on headcount to make money rather than a great customer experience.
