Thingvellir National Park - Begin the journey by driving from Reykjavik to the historic Þingvellir National Park. Here, the American and Eurasian tectonic plates converge, offering a unique experience of standing between two worlds.

Geysir - Famous worldwide for its power and beauty, Geysir has become synonymous with this incredible natural phenomenon. Nearby, the active Strokkur hot spring erupts up to 30 meters high every few minutes. Explore the paths and enjoy the bubbling springs around you. In the Geysir Area, there is also time to purchase lunch or snacks.

Gullfoss Waterfall - Next, visit Gullfoss, the Golden Waterfall. As one of Iceland’s most popular attractions, Gullfoss captivates with its raw power and beauty, cascading 32 meters into a rugged canyon.

Kerid Crater - These three attractions complete the classic Golden Circle, but to enhance the experience, a stop at the spectacular Kerid Volcanic Crater is included. This 3,000-year-old crater is 55 meters deep and offers a unique view of Iceland’s natural beauty.

South Coast Waterfalls & Black Beach

Seljalandsfoss - Experience this waterfall up close as it cascades from the Eyjafjallajokull volcano, dropping 60 meters.

Gljufrabui Waterfalls - A hidden gem that many visitors overlook. Guidance is provided on how to find it!

Írafoss - A private waterfall, not accessible to everyone.

Skogar - Skogafoss is one of the world’s most iconic waterfalls, featured in “Game of Thrones.” Its south-facing position often results in rainbows as the 60-meter cascade creates a misty spray. Skogafoss is a popular sight, and visitors can climb to the top for a different perspective.

Solheimajokull Glacier - Part of one of Iceland’s largest glaciers, Myrdalsjokull, Solheimajokull offers breathtaking views and the chance to get close to the glacier cap.

Reynisfjara Beach - Visit the world-renowned black sand beach at Reynisfjara, where striking basalt columns line the cliffs, volcanic sands meet powerful Atlantic waves, and the dramatic sea stacks of Reynisdrangar rise just offshore.

Glacier Lagoon & Blue Ice Cave

Vik - The third day begins with a brief stop in Vík Village, offering stunning views of the Black Sand Beach and surrounding hills.

Eldhraun - A barren landscape filled with moss-covered lava formations.

Hofskirkja Church - The last church of its kind built in Iceland, dating back to the 19th century. Its roof is made of deep layers of turf, surrounded by moss-covered burial mounds.

Glacier Lagoon - Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon is an extraordinary, bucket-list location featured in several Hollywood films. It is peaceful and tranquil, with stunning scenery that constantly changes as wind and tides move the icebergs. Seals can often be seen swimming among the ice chunks or resting on nearby beaches.

Fellsfjara - Just a short distance from the Glacier Lagoon is Diamond Beach, named for the countless sparkling ice fragments found here. These icebergs are sculpted into fantastic shapes by the wind and waves on the black sand Atlantic beach.

Vatnajokull National Park - Finally, the highlight of the tour awaits! The Blue Ice Cave expedition begins with a superjeep ride to a natural ice cave. The Blue Ice Cave showcases the immense forces of Icelandic nature, formed naturally in glaciers as fresh water freezes in the winter. New caves form each year as glaciers freeze, melt, and refreeze into different shapes. It’s a memorable sight, with diverse ice formations in striking colors. Local guides lead visitors to the most beautiful blue ice caves. Once visited, that particular blue ice cave may never exist again, making it a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Embark on a three-day tour of the Golden Circle and Iceland’s south coast to explore the naturally stunning Blue Ice cave, glaciers, lava fields, thermal springs, volcanoes, powerful rivers and enchanting waterfalls. Your adventure begins with a morning pickup in Reykjavik on a minibus complete with Wi-Fi. Over the next three days, you’ll marvel at the many natural marvels Iceland’s Southern Coast has to offer, accompanied by an English-speaking guide. The price of the trip includes breakfast.

• Bring warm, wind & waterproof clothes and a camera
• Good hiking shoes are necessary for the Ice Cave. If you do not have appropriate footwear, rentals are available
• Only small carry on luggage such as backpacks are possible. Please check with your hotel if they can store your luggage during the tour. Otherwise you can use luggage lockers that are located in the center of Reykjavík.
• Ice Caving tour may be cancelled due to weather and/or safety reasons. If cancelled, other activities may be offered as alternative and you will receive a refund of the price difference.

• Minimum age is 8 years
• Reykjavik City has issued a regulation preventing buses from driving in certain areas in the City center. This means that all tour companies are only allowed to stop at certain designated bus stop locations in the centre of Reykjavík to pick up the guests from hotels or other accommodations in this restricted area. Customer will be contacted directly after booking if they list an address/hotel within the restricted area and direct them to the nearest bus stop.
