Radovljica Old Town - From Bled you cycle along the river Sava to old town of Radovljica, where you can visit the uniqe beekeeping museum.

Begunje na Gorenjskem - You will cycling through Begunje, a hometown of Slavko Avsenik and Polka music, Tržič with its shoe making tradition and Kranj

Skofja Loka - The stage ends in Škofja Loka with the best preserved medieval town center in Slovenia. With a transfer you can avoid the ascent and shorten the stage for about 20km (not in the price).

Škofja Loka - Ljubljana

Ljubljana Old Town - The finish is at Zmajski most-in English Dragon Bridge, which is one of the symbols of Ljubljana. Route detail: ca. 39 km, + 320 m / – 390 m.

Ljubljana - Postojna

Cerknica Lake - Today you drive first through theTivoli Park and by Ljubljana zoo, two very popular places of cityzens of Ljubljana. But the best ist coming later, the magical disappearing lake of Cerknica and gorge Rakov Škocjan.

Rakov Skocjan Valley - Slovenia’s oldest landscape park with amazing natural bridges and other landscape formations. A perfect place for picnic in nature. With a transfer you can abbreviate the stage for about 20km (not in the price).

Postojna - Your goal for this day is Postojna where you can find famous Postojna cave and Predjama castle. Route detail: ca. 61 km, + 700 m / – 410 m.

Postojna - Kodreti / Karst

Postojna Cave - Today you can visit the Postojna caves, the most extensive cave system in Slovenia with stalagmites, stalactites and famous “human fish”.

Predjama Castle - After that you meat another attraction, the Predjama Castle, an unice castle with its unique position below the 123-metre cliff. A story tells about a robber knight Erasmus, which kept a whole army at bay by utilizing the caves underneath the castle to sneak out for supplies.

Vipava - After a spectacular descent to Vipava Valley, one of the most famous wine regions in Slovenia you finish your day in a family guesthouse, where you can enjoy your dinner with a tipical karst cusine.

Kodreti / Karst - Divača / Škocjan

Stanjel - The first stop on today’s stage is Štanjel, an idyllic karst settlement built mostly from stones. on the top of the hill.

Lipica - Through picturesque karst villages, vineyards with numerous wine cellars, which invite you for a stop and a tasting of first-class teran wines and karst ham you drive to the stud farm of Lipica, home of beautiful white Lipizzaner horses, famous worldwide. If you have time, you can also visit “War Museum” set in a Venetian tower.

Divača / Škocjan - Izola - Piran (about 50 km, to Piran about 61 km)

Skocjan Caves Park - Today you can visit Škocjan Caves, UNESCO World Heritage and the protected area.

Parenzana - The Karst Plain accompanies you on the way to the Adriatic Sea, you will follow the route of the old railway lines Val Rosandra and Parenzana. For your last part you’ll cycle along the coastal road on a new cycling path enjoying great vistas of Slovenia’s lovely coast.

Piran - The tour ends in the gorgeous little Venetian town of Piran, where you can watch the sunset from the church bell tower or swimming in a blue Adriatic Sea.

The next phase of the tour takes you to the Notranjska region, where a tour of the internationally acclaimed Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle is suggested. Pedaling into the Karst area, you will ride along serene, picturesque, and easy-to-navigate roads that pass through vineyards and time-honoured villages, offering you a chance to savor the gourmet Teran red wine and Karst ham. The Lipica stud farm, home to the renowned Lipizaner white horses, followed by the Škocjan caves–Europe’s biggest subterranean canyon–are next on the agenda. The final stretch leads you to the Slovenian portion of the Istrian peninsula. After exploring the delightful Piran, you can decompress and rejuvenate after an indelible adventure.
