• Pirin National Park - At 8:00, your guide will pick you up from your hotel or accommodation in Sofia. The drive takes about 2 hours along a stunning scenic route, where you will see the highest mountain in the Balkans, Rila Mountain. Upon arrival, the hike will begin at Vihren hut. The hike will last approximately 3.5 hours round trip, passing by three of the Banderishki lakes. After returning to the vehicle, the journey will continue to Bansko Ski Resort, just 15 minutes from the parking area.
• Bansko - After descending from the mountain, enjoy some relaxation in Bansko, the largest ski resort in Bulgaria, nestled in a valley. Delight in a delicious Bulgarian lunch at a charming spot in the heart of Bansko’s historic district. Following lunch, there will be a 30-minute walking tour, where you will be introduced to the local Revival period architecture and learn about the beginnings of the Revival period in the 18th century. Around 16:30, the return journey to Sofia will commence, with your guide dropping you off at your hotel.

The journey entails an uncomplicated trek to behold the captivating sight of Banderishki Lakes and the towering view of Vihren, the highest peak of the mountain range. On completion of the trek, we’ll descend to Bansko, the largest ski resort in Bulgaria, where you’ll savor an authentic, delicious Bulgarian lunch. The adventure continues with a brief guided tour around the historic section of the town, gaining knowledge about the architectural brilliance and historical tales from our Revival era.
