Fantastic River safari and YS Falls from Negril - Today we were picked up from our hotel, perfectly on time, by our driver Gordon. We then enjoyed the drive to Black River, with regular commentary from Gordon on the areas we were passing through, buildings of interest etc. Once at the Black River safari, we boarded our boat and set off down the river. The guide on the boat was extremely knowledgeable about the area and wildlife, explaining in detail about the section of river we were travelling down. He spots crocodiles under the trees and skilfully manoeuvres the boat so close that they are within touching distance, an amazing experience! We also saw many birds, including an Osprey. Next stop was the beautiful YS Falls, a fairly short drive from Black River, which Gordon made a pleasure with further commentary and willingness to answer all the questions we had. Our daughters enjoyed the waterfalls and rope swings at the falls, our lifeguard guide was great, leading them across the rocks to ensure they didn’t slip and taking photos and videos of them using one of our phones. We then had the return journey to our hotel near Negril, again this was made a breeze by Gordon, despite some “interesting” driving from other road users, all part of the fun learning about driving in other countries. We even got to taste some spicy shrimp from a roadside seller. We wouldn’t hesitate to rebook with Aloha and would be very happy to have Gordon as our driver again. Thanks!

Perfect Tour! - We had a great time with our guide & driver Gordon, he was very friendly and managed everything perfect for us! We've visited Black river first, on a boat and seen crocodiles, and then the YS falls were we had enough time for swimming and after a delicious lunch. We really enjoyed the time and like to thanks Gordon for this great trip!

Amazing day!! - Our driver Gordon provided us with excellent hospitality throughout the day. Aside from taking us to the amazing YS Falls and Pelican Bar, Gordon got us our first patty in Jamaica and took us to a fab restaurant on our way home. He gave us really interesting insights into the towns we passed through and we never felt rushed. After doing only two, we think three excursions in one day would have been too much. Overall, we had a great day and would recommend to anyone!

Best Excursion of the trip and top 5 excursion I’ve ever done anywhere! - We opted to save a little bit of money and just booked the Black River Tour and YS Falls. We left the resort at 0830 and returned at 1600. Driver: Was on time and professional, nice vehicle, good air conditioning and clean. Drive to the first stop was about 1:45 minutes. Lots to look at it. On the way back to the resort our driver stopped for us to get some roadside eats as well as some wonderful local fruit and one of my favs, a bagful of sugar cane. Our Driver did all the price negotiating to ensure we didn’t get taken advantage of. Black River Tour: Zero waiting time. The boat took us immediately when we arrived. Scenery is quite beautiful, cruise was relaxing and our guide was well polished with some local knowledge and good wit. Total boat tour time was about 30 minutes. YS Falls: What a hidden gem this place is! About a 25 minute drive from the black river. No waiting the tour started immediately. Our guide got us moving through the different areas of the falls and took pictures for us the whole way. After the tour you know exactly where you are allowed to swim and you can take your time. Our driver had no issue with us taking as long as we wanted and we were able to explore and relax with zero time pressure. All in all we spent over 2 hours enjoying the YS Falls. HOT TIP - Bring water shoes!

A great time - Had a great time on this trip! Gordon our driver, was attentive and kind! Ended up stopping at a souvenir shop and getting mangoes on the side of the road! We would go again and would recommend this to our friends.

Best Tour ever! - We picked two spots: YS Waterfalls and Black River Safari. Our Tour was with Rayon and he was the best. He gave us very informative information about Jamaica during the drive and brought us also to a beautiful place with big bamboo, where he bought coconuts to drink and eat for us. He also took some nice pics. After that, we drove to the waterfalls. We enjoyed the atmosphere there, even we didn't want to swim. We just walked around and admired the beauty of the nature. It wasn't too crowded there. The next spot was the Black River Safari, which we loved. It was really fun to drive quite fast with the boat and to see all the bird's, trees and flowers on the way. Of course we also saw crocodiles, two of them the guide of the boat attracted with funny and loud noises, feeded and also touched them with his hands, which was quite scary, but also impressive! After the tour Rayon took us to a lady with many fruits and wanted to buy mangos for us, so that we can try it, but the fruits looked so good that we buyed some for later and they were very delicious. The best experience! Book! - Book with Aloha! Rayon was amazing, I will always recommend him to my friends and family that visit Jamaica. He gave us the best experience, we did the triple combo tour which is visiting YS falls, pelican bar and black river safari and had the best time. Rayon really does go above and beyond for everyone, so friendly and loved how he would tell us interesting facts about each town and plants/food, after the tour we booked with him again to go to ricks cafe and for food, he recommends the best places to eat! Reliable, organised, very good prices and amazing experience! Thank you so much Rayon, see you again when we return :)

A step above! - Book with Rayon! Seriously he goes above and beyond to make sure your trip with him is nothing less than spectacular. During the trip he taught us about different herbs, fruits and foliage. Told us what towns we were driving through and facts about them. He made sure all of our excursions were arranged and started soon after we arrived. It really felt like we gained a friend by the end of the day. He even called to check in on my husband (he stepped on a sea urchin) to make sure he was doing OK. He also mentioned that not only does he do tours he also does airport pickup with a nifty welcome package! We will be sending all our friends to him and book him upon our return to jamaica.
