In the serene pottery town of Imbe, participants will stroll through historic streets where traditional climbing kilns and vintage houses still stand. The tour includes visits to significant cultural sites such as the remnants of an ancient kiln and Amatsu Shrine, a site historically revered by Bizen potters. If interested and schedules permit, the guide will also take you to her husband’s active pottery studio and gallery.
Halfway through the tour, there will be a relaxing pause at UDO Café, a beloved local spot where guests can enjoy a beverage served in handcrafted Bizen pottery. (Please note: the cost of drinks is not included in the tour fee.)
