Highlights

Meet you in airport or hotel znd and we start our journey! First day we go along the Chuy Walley from east to the west.

Burana Tower - The Burana Tower is a historical and architectural monument that dates back to the end of the 10th century and the beginning of the 11th century. It is located 15 kilometers from the town of Tokmok and was once part of the Balasagun town and citadel. This archaeological site was home to a citadel, mausoleums, mosque, church, and bathhouse, and many archeological treasures have been found there. The tower, made of red bricks, currently stands at 25 meters tall, with a bottom diameter of 9 meters and a top diameter of 6 meters. Inside the tower, there are small stairs leading to the top. According to inscriptions found at the site and the chronicles of Mukhammed Khaidar, the Burana Tower was built for Balasagun Legislator Imam Muhammad. The Kalyan Minaret in Bukhara, which was the western capital of the Karakhanids, was built in 1127 and stands at 46.7 meters tall. It is believed that the same architect, Usto Bako, built both the Burana and Kalyan Minarets. You can climb up this tower !!

Chon-Kemin National Park - From Burana Tower we continue to Chong Kemin walley. Known as one of Kyrgystan’s most beautiful locales, the Chon-Kemin valley is popular with those who enjoy extreme sports. Its eponymous river flows across the Kungei-Ala-Too and Iliysky Ala-Too mountain ranges, stretching over 70 miles, with seven lakes in its basin. Here also lies a specially-protected region, Chon-Kemin National Park, a lush natural area brimming with diverse flora and fauna. Forming the sides of the valley are conifer forests, which are home to many varieties of herbs, berries, and mushrooms.

Great Guide = Great Experience - The title says it all. Having a great guide like Alex who is knowledgeable and fun to be with will definitely make your experience that much more enjoyable and worthwhile. He is also a great translator and is flexible in meeting all of your needs and wants for the trip. Having been here for only 6 days, I would say that the only downside was not having enough time! Notes for new travellers to Kyrgyzstan: - it may be worth it to exchange a small amount of money at the airport as Kyrgyz Soms aren't widely available outside the country - I would also strongly recommend buying bottled water or bringing a water filter for boiled tap water

An unforgettable adventure! - We immediately felt confident with Alexey. Listening to our desires, he quickly reassured us regarding our first road trip to Kyrgyztan. An experienced driver, we were able to make a real “Offroad” trip in complete safety with him. Flexible and very friendly, communication with him is very easy. We are delighted to be able to use his services again and we warmly recommend him. Thank you Aleksey for making our trip an unforgettable adventure. Benoit and Veronika

Highly recomended guide in Kyrgyzstan - We contacted Anna 6 months ago. Immediatly I realised that she is serious and professional. The comunication was smooth and instant. Anna's English is very good and everything was clear and understood via email and whatsupp. We were a group of 10 adults over 60. Anna tailored the tour to our likes, desires and needs. She was flexible and patiant . Our wonderful tour of Kyrgistan consisted of fabulous nature , history and culture. Every day was WOW. It included 3 meals , some of us are vegetarian and Anna took care of that as well. She cooked a delicious lunch for us on several occasions on the route as well as sweet coffee breaks. The accomodations was good and so was the driver with a clean airconditioned car. We got mineral water all of the time. Anna is very inteligent and has a lot of knowlege about Kyrgistan. Everything we agreed upon was taken care of ,above our expectations. Anna surprised us constantly with different treats. I highly recomend her as your guide to Kyrgistan. Yael Bezalel ,June,2023.
