I would recommend this attraction to everyone - Absolutely brilliant day. £29.95 for afternoon tea and entry to Cadbury world. Staff were amazing especially Sheila who could not do enough, she was super friendly and also knowledgeable about the whole attraction. My sister and I were there for 3 hours.

Great fun and interactive experience - highly recommend - Didn't quite know what to expect from a visit to Cadburys World - thought it would be primarily aimed at younger children....how wrong was I! A thoroughly enjoyable family day out for all ages. Very engaging experience and very interactive - fascinating journey through the history of making chocolate and how Bournville (the village) was created. Received 3 free chocolate bars and a delicious pot of chocolate with choice of two toppings (Oreo crumb, fudge pieces, white chocolate buttons, mini marshmallows or jelly babies that day). Spent about 2.5-3hrs there. Worth walking the Factory Trail after to explore round Bournville itself and walk up to Selly Manor and the village primary school. A lot of pride still in the area which is lovely to see and hear. Recommend a visit

Great especially for disabled children - Great visit today. My daughter is in a wheelchair and she was able to skip the very long queue to get in without us even asking. On entry you are given 2 chocolate bars each which is never a bad start. Good amount of history on how chocolate exports started and a good amount on how individual items are made at Cadbury. I would like a bit more information on how it’s actually made as 1 video didn’t seem enough for my daughters and still felt unsure. Every part of the day was accessible by wheelchair via ramps or lifts. Some great staff who were very accommodating for my daughter, again allowing her to skip the queue for the “have a go” section, so she could have a go at writing with chocolate and tempering at a height that she can reach. Again we didn’t ask, the staff noticed us and offered. Our visit was around 3+ hours, overall really good attraction.

Overall a good visit - just be aware of the drawback. - We visited with our 7 year old and he loved it - we were allowed to enter straightaway, despite arriving 20 minutes early, received 3 chocolate bars and moved through the tour quickly despite queues (it’s half term). The tour is well organised and my son’s highlight was the 4D cinema. In particular - Sue, the member of staff in the cinema was fantastic - she reassured children who were unsure about it and really seemed to care that everyone had a great time. Our only criticisms are that the visit is relatively expensive and only lasted 3 hours including visiting the Half term show with Freddo and the play area, the cafe was very busy and expensive and the tour has less insight into the Cadburys factory production than it did in the past.

Staff need more training in being happy in their work. - Enable time with my grandchildren. Found far too many staff unfriendly, some were as if they didn’t want to be there. We went up at our time to enter to be told you are 30 seconds too early so we had to wait, funny as there was no one in the queue, a real jobsworth. My personal feeling was once entered many areas they seemed to rush you through. I remember going 7/8 years before it seemed a much more enjoyable experience.

School trip chaos - We booked the parent and toddler ticket for mid week but the sheer amount of school trips that were there meant that we couldn't enjoy much. I understand school trips especially in June but I think there needs to be a cap per day or per slot. We couldn't get into the "do it yourself" bit. I heard another family with a toddler having difficulty trying to get to the exit because of all of the school kids and teachers. Alot of school kids on the play area at the same time pushing and running in the toddler area. Even half the amount of school trips at that time would have made our experience so much better. Sheila was an absolute star though, so friendly, helped us when we were trying to get little one away from the noise and darker areas of the tour. She was absolutely amazing.

Not great - Really not a place for toddlers like advertised. There was far too many schools there, the teachers were rude and could not control the kids. They just joined our table at dinner even though there was plenty more we ended moving our stuff to one further away. We spoke to a staff member called Sheila who was an absolute credit to the business. She was lovely and helped us through everything. The cafe prices were extortionate. A plain sandwich with a slice of cheese in is nearly £7. The best parts were the playground that was good and the shop was also decently priced. However I probably wouldn't visit again.

Not the best experience - Terrible feel let down.we went as a family for a day out over Christmas new year. Wish we hadn’t bothered was overpriced. Been a few different times over the years but this time found you get hardly any treats anymore as you go around. It’s also not exactly disabled friendly in a lot of places. We also went to the cafe and wish I hadn’t bothered as it was overpriced fast food. A real let down and despite complaining never received as much as an acknowledgment
