Wonderful experience!! - David was our guide and was very knowledgeable. We loved everything he took us to. The individual attention was worth the $$$$. My suggestions for improvement: prior to leaving, poll the group to prioritize sights and ask about the need for a lunch break. The car was dirty with pet hair and a bit smelly. Not good for someone with pet allergies. He was very generous with his time! We started a bit early and went well over the ending time. I’d would take the tour again.

Great tour! - It was a very personalized tour. My guide was very knowledgeable and had all sorts of information about each area we saw. It was done leisurely with time to sit and talk as we enjoyed a soda at the peanut store. The mansion was very beautiful. We also toured the garden and even tasted a fresh fig right off the plant.

Visiting Birmingham - My wife and I were visiting from Tampa Bay and this was our first time to Birmingham. The owner, Wolfgang, met us upon arrival…very friendly and helpful. David was our guide. He was very helpful, informative and professional…and a good driver! Make sure he takes you to a most unique watering hole, The Garage Cafe.

A fun morning learning the history - My husband and I enjoyed this tour with Wolfgang. He is very knowlegable about the history and entertaining with it . He if flexible and willing to alter the stated itinerary to accommodate the preferences of the group. He will take up to 5 people in his van so it is a small group. I would recommend this tour.

Beautiful Birmingjam - First of all Wolfgang ( our tour guide), was very knowledgeable about the Birmingham area. He kept us educated on the history and what was happening presently. My favorite part of the tour was our visit to the Alabama Peanut Company. Si ce I'm not from Alabama, my first taste of a boiled peanut was amazing! We were able to watch the worker open up the peanut roaster, and have the roasted peanuts fall into a metal tub when they were done. That was fun to watch. We bought the Cajun flavored peanuts to take home. Vulcan park was truly an experience I'll always cherish. We were also able to take pictures on Legion Field, the staff there was great and accomidating. We were also able to visit Rickwood Field, the oldest baseball park in America. That my friend was like viewing the past so glad that ,that field hasn't been torn down. What a historic treasure for Birmingham, that is being used in present day. We were able to witness this beautiful city alive and well. I will finish with this16th Street Church was a reminder to me that we should all love one another. Not try and hurt one another. The church is beautiful, the stained glass windows are amazing. I loved the MLK statue across the street. Birmingham is a gem!
