Wonderfully informative and entertaining. - The. tour was exceptional. Willamina was very knowledgeable, providing background information and context to the sights on the tour. She not. only explained the historical significance of stops, but also related other stories and events (both historical and current) as we walked to them.

Wonderful tour guide who really knows the city and history from living it - We loved this tour. Being able to learn the history from someone who has lived her whole life here (and during the events discussed in the tour) was invaluable! Wilhelmina was great at answering our questions, and presenting the information in great ways for the adults and teens.

Worth the time and cost! - While we could have done a self guided walking tour, our guide gave so much insight and historical detail that 90 minutes quickly passed. Describing both the positives and horrific happenings in 1963 we gained knowledge and understanding of the Birmingham black community.
