Navigate through Bilbao’s fascinating sites by traversing its historic district! Accompany our local guides to uncover every mystery that this iconic city conceals, gaining insight into its architecture and its residents.
Starting from the boundary of Old Town and Downtown, you’ll explore the winding streets of Old Town, passing through the original seven streets and the churches of San Anton and Santiago, making sure to visit the La Ribera market. Later, witness the city’s expansion during the 19th century under the impact of industrialisation and the growth of banking, followed by the city’s recent modernisation with the construction of the riverside promenades.

The perfect way to get a feel for Bilbao - Our guide Beatrice was excellent and showed the benefit of their studies in Basque language and culture. Beyond pointing out what we could see they added history and how things combined to produce the buildings, culture and atmosphere today. Highly recommended tour

Great - Bea, our tour guide did an excellent job. Her English was perfect. Very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the tour very much. Only thing didn’t see the puppy.

Very informative - She did a great job explaining the history of the city and culture of the basque people. We were the only ones who signed up, so it was a private tour. We only had one day there, so wanted to experience everything as efficiently as possible

Small Group, Big Experience - Our 2 hour tour with Beatriz was very informative about old town Bilbao. Beatriz was extremely knowledgeable, fluent in English, and patiently answered all our questions. There were only 2 couples on our tour, which made it especially intimate and easy to hear her. As we passed another walking tour group with about 12 people, I was so glad we paid the extra for a small group experience.

Bilbao history experience - we were a small group & Miguel provided insight to the history of Bilbao with additional personal history from grandparent experiences. He answered many questions from us & it was a fantastic way to explore the city.
