Good street food tour...BUT.... - When booking via Viator the Operator behind seems to be Yo Tours. They are supposed to send you exact meeting point and contact details in time. They don't! We're waiting for almost an hour at busy Kote Gate in Bikaner and had to contact Viator via Chat thrn and there. They then got us some local contact details and we could get in touch with this person. Seems to be the subcontractor of a subcontractor. Once we found our guide (an hour after originally planned) all was fine. He showed us a food market area of Bikaner we have not been to before and we got taste some of the traditional food. He (think Gulum was his name) was very knowledgeable and explained a lot and share a lot of stories with us. Please not le that despite having paid for the tour you still have to pay for the food ( which does not cost a lot though). Would wr book it again? Not really, try to find someone locally by eg asking in the hotel or guesthouse.

Read before booking the street food. - I will give my honest review here. When we wanted to do street food tour in Bikaner, we started looking at trip advisor and came across Yo Tours. We paid full amount for that and booked it but recieved response after a day only after calling them that the booking is confirmed. We were waiting for the venue and the person detail to be known. I found the Yo tours not responsive enough and I felt as if I was about to get scammed. But then again I called in the day of the tour that who is the person going to conduct it and what time we start . That is when I recieved a person number, then I called the conductor and he said he will get back to me. Then the person who was supposed to meet us didn't turn up and instead send his brother to do the street food tour. So the starting of the tour ,we had our apprehension becoz the money we had paid to yo tours for street food was paid which included the street food but then we had to pay separately to that person for each and every food we tasted. Surprisingly the brother who came to make us do the street food was kind and respectful and added few of the food spots which we knew and we wanted to do that. The street food tour conducted by Jaffar bhai( the brother who turned instead of the host) was really good and we tasted most of the local food dishes like : Lalji ka Raj Kachori : Must try Mulsa fulsa : Paan Chotu Motu Joshi : Rasmalai, rasgulla and their poori and aaloo sabji Moong dal ka halwa : don't remember the place Moong ke pakode : just opposite to moong dal halwa shop Chunnilal ka sherbet where we tasted verities of sherbet Some ghewar shop. He also made us buy some good local ker sangee pickles, churans and bikaner famous papad and bishan lal ka bhujiya. So thankyou only to Jaffar bhai for really making it special and pls my request to yo tours, pls get sincere about your work and when you say food is included in your package, atleast refund the extra money we had spend on the food again.
