Great experience to remember! - Jason was super nice, fun, and flexible. Also let me sit in front of the van because I get car sick! Lots of animals ! Long trip driving from where we were staying but still worth it!

Great time! - We had the best time on this excursion. We were afraid it would be a long day for our four kids, but it was perfect. Michelle and Alfredo were great and the staff at the tubing and animal sanctuary were amazing!

Rafting, rainforest, beautiful animals, traditional food, waterfall hike all in one and for all ages! - This experience was great! Alex was our tour guide and Juan was our driver and we highly recommend them. They picked us up at 7:15am at The Coast in Tamarindo. Alex is very hospitable and knowledgeable of Costa Rican history, legends, animal and environmental area facts and is very personable. We felt comfortable as if we had known him. The animal sanctuary is beautiful. We saw red dart frogs, sloths, an eyelash viper snake, tree frogs, and lush plants in the rainforest. We got to make a photo stop at The Peace Tree. The river raft tubing was so much fun. We travel a lot and have never done this before. The water is a gorgeous milky blue; it’s so refreshing and the rapids are great for all ages, including our 10 year old daughter and 72 year old mother-in-law. At the end of the tubing experience we had a traditional Costa Rican meal with your meat of choice, rice, beans, salad and plantain. Delicious! The last stop on our tour was the national volcano park where we hiked to the waterfall. You are not allowed to get in the water here, but we got to swim and swing from a rope in the river rafting part. On the way home, we stopped for souvenirs and tried coffee and chocolate which we ended up buying both of, because they’re so good. The drive from Tamarindo is about 2 hours and then a 40 minute drive between stops, so it’s a long day. We got back to our hotel at 6:30pm, but it was well worth it! Family Fun in Costa Rica - A great day! Our family of four (incl 2 young adults) very much enjoyed this excursion. It was a good balance of sight seeing and activity. We began with some native animal watching in a reserve to see sloths, birds, frogs, snakes and butterflies. Next we moved to the Rio Celeste for a 4km fun, relaxing, and refreshing tubing ride in beautifully blue waters. After tubing we enjoyed a local style lunch with chicken, rice, beans and plantains. Then, we drove to the Parque National Volcan Tenorio and hiked approx 1.5km to see a stunningly blue waterfall. A beautiful sight to be seen. Last, we stopped at some local shops to pick up some gifts and local art. Our guide Michelle and driver Fabio we very accommodating and truly enjoyable to be with all day. We highly recommend the tour for any family looking for some outdoor fun and activity.

Perfect Excursion! - Our family of four had an amazing time on this private tour! During our first stop at the animal sanctuary we saw sloths, beautiful birds, frogs and other unique species. Our next stop was tubing down the river which was extremely fun and very refreshing on a hot day. Our lunch after was traditional Costa Rican food and it was delicious. Our final stop, the hike to the waterfall, was absolutely gorgeous and the blue water was stunning! Our guide Michi and our driver Fabio were perfect chaperones for the day. Michi was sweet and very knowledgeable and gave us many interesting facts about the region and things we witnessed along the way. They made sure we were comfortable and had fun throughout the day. I highly recommend both the tour and Michi and Fabio!

Best day tour - Absolutely the best day tour! I went with 9 other friends and we had an incredible time. Our tour guide Jayson is very knowledgeable of the local area, food recommendations, and wildlife. Our driver Gustavo got us safely to each of our destinations throughout the day in a comfortable van. My favorite part of the day was our river tubing tour, but getting to see all the wildlife was also extremely memorable. Highest recommendations for Blue Zone Tours. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect day trip - This tour was awesome! Jason and Gustavo took care of us from the moment we were picked up. The hike to the waterfall was so beautiful! The river tubing was so much fun and we were ready to do it again! The sloth sanctuary was so cool and we actually saw sloths and monkeys in addition to snakes and frogs! It was such an amazing day and are so grateful we chose this tour!

This excursion will be the highlight of your trip. - We had a great time on the River Celeste tour. You are guaranteed to see sloths, birds, snakes and more. The hike to the waterfall is great just be prepared and drink water. The lunch at the small local spot was excellent and allowed for wonderful views and a “local” experience. Then possibly the best time we had on our whole trip was the tubing down the river. This we will talk about until the next trip we take. You will learn the importance of “butt up”! Take the chance and swing off the rope swing!!!
