“Slow Down, Respect & Enjoy” - The day before we travelled to Bijagua I contacted Spring Paradise through WhatsApp and was told we didn’t need to buy tickets in advance, just provide our names and our arrival time. We drove from Samara and arrived at Spring Paradise around 10 a.m., were greeted promptly & had time to catch our breath before we started the hike. Our guide was Kelman…who was friendly, knowledgeable & very patient with all my questions. He even helped me take some beautiful pictures. It’s a well maintained private property sanctuary with much flora & fauna. Seeing any of the animals is dependant on the day and Mother Nature herself. Keep your distance and respect their privacy. We were lucky to witness a 3 toed sloth changing trees…it was my unforgettable Costa Rican experience.

A👏🏻MAZ👏🏻ING!!! Sloths and wonderful nature - This is a 5 out of 5!!! Our tour guide, Walter was the best!! He was very knowledgeable, patient and got the best pictures!! We saw so many animals and they were in their natural habitat. There are no cages or fences. It’s truly a nature walk. Also, the area is lush and beautiful and worth spending the day.

You'll get great photos of sloths and frogs and hopefully more. - Stephanie was a great tour guide with Amazing photography skills (with everyone's cameras). She also had a scout helping her find animals. We saw a juvenile sloth up close & moving and a few adults far away. We also saw leaf cutter ants, frogs, snakes, birds, but missed out in the tapir and toucan.

Wonderful Afternoon Tour - Great private tour in the rainforest. We got to see all kinds of wildlife! Having a guide is essential to spot much of it as they have great eyes and know where/how to look. Jonny was an amazing guide and we had such a good time! He even recommended a good restaurant in town and helped us out at the local pharmacy (needed something for a cough). Thank you for a great time!

Definitely would recommend! - This was a fantastic tour lead by Edgardo and Allison - a perfect couple who shared their knowledge and searched for wildlife while we hiked through the property. It was a real value as we saw 5 two and three toed sloths, spiders, frogs, mot mots and a group of howler monkeys - one of them was a mom who swung through the trees while carrying her little baby on her back, another was a vocal dominant male. We spent about two hours and thought the excursion had ended, but we were treated to fresh fruit and ice tea while watching butterflies and humming birds. Would definitely recommend for all ages!

Awesome experience....treated us like family!!! - My family of 11, visiting from Florida, had an awesome time visiting Spring Paradise for their wildlife tour. This was a fairly last-minute trip we decided on and reached out to them same day via Whatsapp by which they were very responsive and accommodating. After learning of birthdays in our group, the tour guide and admins went way above and beyond to make the newly 7 yr olds feel special (chocolate cake and all). We felt very blessed to find this tour company.... they were like family. The tour was great as well. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and we saw everything.....tapir, birds (including Tucans), vipers, dart frogs and red eyed tree frogs, and, of course, sloths (many).....including a fairly young sloth who was right at eye level and was incredibly cute. The tourguide was very patient and went way beyond teaching our teenagers how to take the best pics through binoculars (spent a lot of time with them, which wasn't required of him) All-in-all, I would highly recommend this company, their tours and tour guides. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing animal adventure - Allen did an excellent job in teaching us about the animals, plants and area, along with pointing out many animals during our hike today. We were able to see many sloths, toucans, frogs, insects, and snakes during our tour. We highly recommend him and this tour!

Wonderful Education Experience - I booked this trip with my two daughters wanting to see a sloth. I will say I wish this was an easier to find excursion- the hotel where we stayed called to locate it for us. But once there we followed our guide to a private forest that other companies do not have access to. I would suggest pants or very good bug spray for this because he does take you off trail. We did not see a sloth but learned a lot about the conservation efforts in Costa Rica and the things that are being done in the name of tourism that is not healthy for the animals. Extremely informative and friendly and brings new meaning to travel with a purpose and aware of your impact. After directing us to lunch at a local bakery he went back out and eventually found a sloth at a locals home up in his tree that didn't mind us coming by to view him from a distance. I would highly recommend this as a great educational experience to both see animals and learn about the countries struggles and work to protect the animals and fragile ecosystem.

Great jungle wildlife tour - This was an excellent wildlife tour and was worth the 2.5 hour drive from our accommodations on the mid-Pacific coast. The coast was so kind and knowledgeable and took us a separate way to avoid following too closely behind another group. We saw a number of sloths, frogs, birds, and even a tapir. Our guide, Allen, also gave us some great recommendations nearby.
