- Seats are limited, so don’t miss out by booking early
- No previous swimming, kayaking or snorkelling experience needed
- Low to medium fitness level (depending on weather conditions). Early morning tours usually offer calmer conditions while afternoon tours could be more for a good challenge. We offer a physical activity where a certain fitness level is required, no refunds or rescheduling options are entitled for those who are not able to complete the activity.
- Maximum weight limit per double kayak is 220kg and 120Kg per single
- Minimum age is 4 years
- Water visibility and wildlife spotting may be affected by the force of nature (e.g. winds, rainfall, tidal currents) and Seaway Kayaking Tours is not responsible should this occurs.
- A 12% surcharge applies on Sundays and Public Holidays

We park our trailer between 456-482 Marine Parade, Biggera Waters QLD 4216 (on the beach side). Please note that we are not a shop, this is where all of our tours depart from. The street numbers previously mentioned are only to be used as a reference point.

Best instructors ever! - Great place for kayaking and snorkelling with even better instructors! They showed us how to explore Waves Brake Island, tides and snorkelling tips! We will repeat for sure!

Well organised fun tour - I joined a small group of just seven people for a kayaking tour with Gonzalo, and it was fantastic. The meeting instructions were spot-on, and all equipment was provided — including wetsuits if you wanted one. We were given a thorough introduction and safety briefing before setting off, and Gonzalo made sure everyone kept up and felt safe throughout the trip.
On the way, we stopped to see some soldier crabs, which was a nice surprise. When we arrived at Wave Break Island, we had about 50 minutes to explore at our own pace. I saw plenty of sea bream, but no tropical fish — which I expected, as this isn’t the coral reef.
A small picnic was included, with snacks and a hot drink, which was a lovely touch. Gonzalo was fun, took lots of photos (much appreciated as a solo traveller), and they turned out far more professional than I expected! On the way back, we even got to surf some waves in our kayaks, which was a great way to finish the day.
Overall, a well-organised, friendly, and enjoyable tour — highly recommended.

👌 Wonderful Experience! - Amazing Experience for beginners. Nelson was a great guide and a teacher. He taught me to Kyak and Snorkel as it was the first time for me doing both. He even helped us spot stingrays and many different kinds of birds! Would recommend to anyone visiting Gold Coast! The serene atmosphere of the tour will soothe your soul.

Great experience! Kayaking and snorkeling - We had a great experience! Our guide Gonsale(not sure on the spelling) was amazing! He was very friendly and patient with us. Sharing his knowledge about the area. My son 14 yo, thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and can't wait to go snorkeling again. The Soldier crabs were a highlight for us all. Thank you very much for a great experience!! We will definitely recommend you to our friends. From Sandra, Glen, Troy and Triston.

Great time had by all! - Had a great experience. As we were more experienced the guide changed the agenda to give us a personalised experience with more paddling and wildlife. The snorkelling was great too. Recommended.

Snorkelling and kayaking adventure - Gonzalo did a great job to guide us to the Wavebreak Island and gave us enough time for snorkelling and prepared some small snacks. Would recommend this fun adventure

Great afternoon activity in the heart of the Gold Coast - Nelson and Sebastian were very helpful guides and we had an enjoyable time. They were both helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a kayaking/snorkelling tour.

Amazing day even with awful weather. Staff great at their jobs but poor at extending courtesy. - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. It was cloudy all day and raining heavily for 2/3's of the tour - but we still enjoyed it and the tour guides did a great job of still making it fun, as well as making no changes and preventing us from doing any of the activities. Kayaking with lightning in the background is a surreal and awesome feeling.
The lunch was also great for an included lunch. Normally it's just a novelty sandwich and drink but this was a generous setup of wrap fillings, cupcakes, crisps, etc.
The only downside I will say; is that the staff did a poor job of providing shelter from the rain. People getting wet is fine, who cares. Personal belongings, bags and electronics being left out in the rain without shelter is another thing. Especially while the staff were sitting inside a big sheltered truck where rain didn't leak through the ceiling.
Not once were we asked if we'd like to put even the essentials under shelter, we were just left out in the cold and torrential rain while they sat bone dry underneath a metal roof.
Aside from everything being soaked through, we had a blast, and I would recommend this company and this tour.
