Take pleasure in the scenic views of the sea while you kayak in the direction of Wave Break Island. Engage in an exciting water journey with potential sightings of dolphins and stingrays, luck permitting. Upon arrival at Wave Break Island, you’ll have the opportunity to snorkel around its rocky reefs and delve into the marvelous marine life of the Gold Coast. Afterward, regain your energy as you enjoy some refreshments, taking in the stunning panorama of the Gold Coast, before paddling back to our starting location.
- Seats are limited, so don’t miss out by booking early
- No previous swimming, kayaking or snorkelling experience needed
- Low to medium fitness level (depending on weather conditions). We offer a physical activity where a certain fitness level is required, no refunds or rescheduling options are entitled for those who are not able to complete the activity.
- Maximum weight limit per double kayak is 220kg and 120Kg per single
- Minimum age is 4 years
- Water visibility and wildlife spotting may be affected by the force of nature (e.g. winds, rainfall, tidal currents) and Seaway Kayaking Tours is not responsible should this occurs.
- A 12% surcharge applies on Sundays and Public Holidays

We park our trailer between 456-482 Marine Parade, Biggera Waters QLD 4216 (on the beach side). Please note that we are not a shop, this is where all of our tours depart from. The street numbers previously mentioned are only to be used as a reference point.

Seaway 2.5h Kayaking & Snorkelling Trip - Was a great trip out to the island and snorkelling. Saw heaps of fish and a lot of other marine creatures. Fruit and snacks provided and cups of water to keep us refreshed! 10++

Perfect snorkelling experince - Fun sand safe kayaking all worth to see beautiful fishes underwater while snorkeling.
The guide also served us hot drinks as the weather was a bit chilly, thus ensured out comfort alongside enjoyment.
The equipment used was of good quality.
Would recommend this tour.

Great for families or people who have never snorkelled or kayaked - Myself and my husband went on this morning tour. The water was fairly calm which was great. The guides gave us very good instructions on how to kayak and what to do if the kayak capsized. We didn’t have to kayak very far and it felt very safe which was great. There were a few kids in our group, the youngest was probably aged about 6. The snorkelling was good fun and we saw lots of fish. The water where we snorkelled was quite shallow in places and you could actually see fish in a foot of water. This tour is perfect if you are anxious about snorkelling or kayaking for the first time, or have kids with you. The snacks provided were great too. Overall we enjoyed the experience and would recommend it. Sincere apologies, I can’t remember the guides names but they were both lovely and helpful.

Highly recommended Tour - Would definitely recommend this tour. We did the kayaking and snorkelling tour to wave break island. Our guide Lochlan and Sergio were great, provided good safety brief before the tour. We went at 13:30 tour . Good snorkelling spot was near to the rocks however because of low tide and heavy wind it was bit difficult to go there thus limiting to see anything except for some fishes near to the shore. Tour did provide some water and light snacks which was great.
