A great afternoon - I never write reviews but this was an awesome experience and I want to express my gratitude to Capt. Brendon and crew member MJ! They made the experience enjoyable. The entire day was easy and it was perfect amount of time and they had everything we needed. There were only 9 of us on the boat and it was perfect seating. Capt Brendon was so knowledgeable and MJ was great at making sure everything we needed was taken care of. Such a great way to spend an afternoon!

A must do experience - We booked this trip after being on the manta ray night trip. Both were amazing experiences. While I was very reticent at first to dive into the ocean, they helped me gain my courage and brought an amazing experience. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made this a very personal experience. I will definitely be going back.

Awesome Snorkel Expedition - This was a great snorkeling trip to three sites located in the south Kona area. Our guides, Adam and Brennan, were great and provided for a safe and comfortable trip for my family of five. All three sites were in calm water and visibility was awesome. We saw a lot of tropical fish, some eels and even green sea turtles at cleaning stations. Two of the sites were coral reefs and one site was more of a rocky environment. All were interesting to snorkel at. Thanks for a great experience!

Great snorkeling trip! - We had a super experience on a beautiful day. Captain Brendan and First Mate MJ did a really good job of being attentive to our needs and experience, but not being overbearing. We were treated to seeing pilot whales on the way to the first spot. We snorkeled Two Step and then on to a second location which was not the preferred spot. Final location was Captain Cook and it was great. A nice lunch was provided on the boat. Final treat was seeing spinner dolphins on the way in. Would highly recommend this team and company.

Great Experience - Our two 16 year old granddaughters and my husband went on this tour. It was well organized and implemented from our first call to the end of the tour. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The emailed materials were clear and specific. The snorkeling was excellent and included three different spots. The information provided by the guides was very informative both about the area and the actual snorkeling. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone who is interested in an exceptional snorkeling experience.

Spectacular! - For me, this was the highlight of our 14 day 3 island vacation. The water clarity couldn't have been better with almost 100' of visibility. We travelled the coastline to 3 different locations. We spent 45 minutes at each and when asked at the end which was my favorite, I honestly couldn't choose. Each was spectacular in it's own way. Snacks, water and juices were available between stops with a lunch provided after the last. After lunch we headed towards deeper waters where we saw a pod of Pilot Whales and 2 White Tipped Reef Sharks. Unbelievably, Kaitlynn from the crew got in the water with a GoPro to record the whales (including a mama and calf) as well as the sharks! She later sent the videos to us. Highly recommended!

Sign up for the diving, stay for the amazing coastal sights! - If you want a boutique snorkel experience with only a few (about 15 total on our trip) guests, this is the tour for you. Everything about this trip smacked of professionalism, from the check in process to the on time return. We couldn't have been happier with our crew, Capt. Brendon and Kaytlin (hope I spelled that correctly!). They took great care of us, and were exceptionally knowledgable about every aspect of the tour, from the aquatic wildlife, to the history of the island and her people. We went to three dive sites (Place of Refuge, a secret spot I won't reveal, and Kealakekua Bay), all of which were excellent, and had about 30-40 minutes to snorkel per site. Lots of fish, some sea turtles, and we saw a giant yellow margin moray eel. We also stopped at several rugged coastal rock formations on the way back and watched the Pacific surf pound itself against the shore. Plenty of snacks, fruit, and a tasty included lunch, this was definitely worth the money. Recommend renting a wet suit shorty if you're there outside of the summer as it does get cold on the boat between sites.

Awesome snorkeling trip - All was good, fabulous weather, cool snorkeling spots we nearly had to ourselves, good equipment, fun captain and crew, snacks, adventurous boat ride... We saw loads of different fish you can look up in a reader on the boat, saw sea turtles and two different kinds of dolphins. Could not have been better!!

Great Snorkeling Adventure with Sea Quest - The Expedition South Kona snorkeling experience with Sea Quest was top notch. It was a small group of 12 guests plus a crew of two, Brendan (captain) and Libby. We went to 3 different snorkeling spots with some stops on the way where Brendan shared information about the history of the area, the wildlife, and Hawiian legends. Libby made sure all of our equipment was in good shape and functioning properly, assisted with getting in and out of the boat or anything else anyone needed. Both Libby and Brendan were freindly and available to answer any questions people had. The fish in all 3 locations were beautiful and plentiful. We were also lucky to see turtles, bottle nose dolphins and spinner dolphins. We enjoyed a good lunch and snacks on the boat and left the dock and arrived back on time. The Sea Quest staff was professional, friendly and organized. I would do this again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it. Be sure to bring your reef-safe sunscreen!
