Whale watching and Snorkeling Adventure! - There are not enough good things to say about this experience. Beginning with the ease of booking, to the communication before our trip, to the trip itself-Aloha Kona Tours was nothing short of amazing! Captain Koichiro was fantastic at spotting the whales and getting us in a good spot to watch them. We were so grateful for all the island's history along the ride given to us by Jordan. This whole crew were so patient and worked well with us, especially my 6 and 3-year old nephews (Thanks Shay!). We saw dolphins, whales, turtles, snorkeled in the bay, and were given snacks after our swim to enjoy on our leisurely ride back to the marina. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to charter their own boat in Kona, especially if you have children that you want to take with you!!

Cannot recommend enough! - Had an amazing time with Captain Ko and Jordan. We saw dolphins and turtles during our trip, and snorkeled at K-Bay. Everything you need for snorkeling is provided, and Captain Ko had a nice snack board available for us after our swim. They were both very knowledgable about the area and taught us se local history. The boat ride was very enjoyable and felt safe the while time. Having a private tour with just our family was very relaxing (no crowds of people). Bonus, Captain Ko took great pictures of our family for us. Cannot recommend enough! Mahalo for an unforgettable experience!

Amazing Private Charter Snorkel to Kealakekua Bay - Had a wonderful morning private charter with Captain Ko and Jordan. Could not have asked for a better experience. Had a great snorkel at Kealakekua Bay and a lovely fruit platter after we got back on the lovely boat. We were lucky enough to see a few pods of dolphins. A highlight of our two week stay on the big island. Highly recommend!!

Great tour, great company. Thanks Captain Ko and Avery for a truly memorable day! - Our family did the private morning charter with Captain Ko and Avery and loved it! This tour was my (teenage) daughter’s favorite part of our trip to Hawaii. I chose Aloha Kona Tours when trying to find a snorkeling tour. We have been on group snorkeling tours in Hawaii in the past, and I thought it would be nice to have a private tour. I was right! Captain Ko and Avery reminded us when we met them that this was a charter just for us so we could choose whatever we wanted to do and wherever we wanted to go. The boat was new, clean and very comfortable with plenty of room. They provided drinks and snacks and even a cheese, cracker, salami and fruit board for us after snorkeling. I was not sure if my kids would be board with the boat trip back and forth from the snorkeling area, but that was not the case! Captain Ko showed us many sites along the way and Avery talked to us about all things Hawaiian, including Hawaiian history. But unexpectedly for me, they were able to find dolphins who were swimming all around our boat! They told us they can find whales many times too. They also showed us huge, amazing rock formations as we drove back and forth along the coast. My kids even did some cliff jumping with Avery! The snorkeling was, of course, awesome. Avery snorkeled with us as a guide in the water, and we got to see octopus and she showed us sea cucumber, in addition to the beautiful reef and abundance of fish. Both Captain Ko and Avery were very personable, making sure we were enjoying every moment. I highly recommend this company.

Wonderful experience! - Captain Koichiro and his boat are amazing! We absolutely loved our trip with him. The boat is in excellent condition, very well appointed. Captain Koichiro and his guide, Jana, were very attentive and helped every step of the way. We loved the snorkeling at Captain Cook and saw so many amazing fish. Highly recommend this special experience!

Luxury Boat Snorkel Trip was AMAZING with Ko and Jayna! - We contemplated the catamaran trip to Captain Cook for snorkeling but then decided on the private charter. It was well worth the price! The boat was super nice and Ko and his assistant Jayna had a lot of interesting Hawaii history to share along the way to the destination. We arrived before the crowded catamarans and it was nice to have the area to ourselves for most of the trip. Jayna jumped in the water with us to show us the best spots and even got great GoPro footage of us under water. On our way back, Ko had delicious fresh snacks for us and more storytelling. As we neared the port, Ko heard there were some whales spotted nearby so we went to go see them. We spotted several and snorkeled in the open sea to get a closer look. It was an experience we will never forget and a definite highlight of our trip to the Big Island.

Aloha Kona Tour was terrific - Aloha Kona Tours gave us a special snorkeling day. We were met on time and with a smile. They offered to tailor our snorkeling destination to what best suited our needs. Captain Koichiro and his helper Jenna provided information about the Kona coast and Big Island history. We traveled with older family members and they were very attentive. I appreciated that as we swam, Captain Koichiro always knew where we were and brought the boat to us. Jenna came in the water to guide us to great locations and was very helpful pointing out the different sea life, including an eel curled into the coral. We also saw dolphin and turtles. They provided lovely fresh fruit, water, soda and snacks. A great day with the captain and his helper!

Private Boat Charter: Great way to see a side of the Big Island without the crowds - We really enjoyed the private boat charter along the coast of the Big Island. We saw spinner dolphins, snorkeled, and a hammerhead shark. The whole experience was very easy. We received a text message the night before from our captain with time to meet at the harbor and directions. We opted to go snorkeling to Captain Cook /Kealakekua Bay - and while it was not as good as the snorkeling in Maui - we enjoyed our time and the flexibility of leaving when we wanted to and exploring other areas.
