A Sanctuart in a Sanctuary - Hands down the best experience on the island for nature lovers! Second time doing it, and this time got the sound bath add on. The forest is beautiful, you learn about the integrated and diverse forest. How a forest needs diversity in order to promote growth and health. I always love seeing how nothing ever goes to waste in nature. The guides are knowledgeable, I learn something new each time! I really loved hearing about the restoration of the cloud forest as well as understanding all the medicinal plants that are there. The sound bath was also nice because you get a chance to meditate, relax and listen to the sounds of nature accented by the gong and flutes of the sound bath. Meditation can really help you reset and relax. Everyone should try a little nature therapy in the cloud forest followed by meditation to drain out any residue from the chaos that can bombard your senses every day. Loved the sanctuary and look forward to coming back!

Great tour and informative visit. - Terrific experience. Something I have only enjoyed in St Lucia, but this was much more inclusive and informative. It’s clear the family has a sincere passion for this. I would encourage any visitors to the island to experience this.

Connecting with Nature - This was a great tour through the cloud forest. Our guide was very knowledgeable and very interactive, encouraging questions and immersing yourself in the forest. The hike is not a long distance and the pace is leisurely, but there are some short slightly steep sections - the most challenging one can be bypassed. I gave it 5 stars, our whole family enjoyed it. If you forget to put on mosquito repellent they have some there.

A beautiful experience! - A wonderful experience! We took the 2.5-hour tour at 9 in the morning with Heather Rose, and it was amazing! She is truly knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts about both the plants and the history of the sanctuary and local stories. The entire experience was very relaxing, as we had the opportunity to stroll calmly and immerse ourselves in nature. It is an incredible landscape, and it is beautiful to think about what a single man can achieve. Easy trail, but not suitable for strollers. In the end, we were also given a taste of mamaki tea: very good! There are restrooms. Parking on the side of the road.

Unique and memorable - This was definitely a unique and magic place. What I found interesting is that it wasn't as much a Hawaiian forest so much as a carefully curated global forest. Since their mission is restoration, they needed some things to grow fast to prove a canopy for some native Jungle species. It's fair to say no place on earth is exactly like this.

Beautiful and Peaceful - A lovely easy (there are a lot of tree roots to step over) saunter through this beautiful sanctuary is just what is needed to take a deep breath and slow down for a couple hours while enjoying your fabulous vacation here on Hawaii. Our guide was very attentive and knowledgeable sharing the history of the area, information about many plant species and the formation of the forest. So many lovely trees, plants and flowers! The clouds hanging in the tree tops are a special sighting and you probably will get a little sprinkle. A lovely afternoon overall!
