Kona Cloud Forest - Beautiful cloud forest! Drew was a knowledgeable and fun guide who also is the grandson of the gentleman who secured the 30 acres. Family stories were great! Highly recommend this 1.5 hour tour.

Memorable, educational and fun! - We had the best time on the 1.5 hour hike! It was myself, my husband and our 3 teenage daughters and we all loved it. Heather Rose was our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a little cool, so be prepared if you are wearing shorts and tank tops that you might want another layer. And don't miss the tea and banana bread at the end. Yummy!

Interesting and informative - Sierra was awesome. Niece of the founder so that was a cool touch. Walk was not difficult. She tailored the info to meet the interest of the group. Also kept the kids involved

Excellent outdoors family fun - Our 2nd time on this tour and loved it again. My wife, sons, and in laws all thoroughly enjoyed the tour led by Heather Rose. She is extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and highly recommended.

Hidden Beauty of Kona’s Cloud Forest - I loved every minute of the pantropical Tour at Kona Cloud Forest Sanctuary. The forest is breathtaking towering trees, vibrant plants, and a calm atmosphere that makes you slow down and appreciate nature. Our guide Heather Rose's expertise brought everything to life, from the unique species to the delicate ecosystem that thrives there. It’s rare to find a place that feels both educational and magical, but this sanctuary delivers exactly that.

It’s gorgeous! - This was an incredible experience for myself and two teenage sons. The place is beautiful and the guide Heather did a fantastic job of showing us the plants and trees as the clouds rolled into the mountain. Beautiful place for pictures during the hike. Would definitely do this again!

Amazing Experience! - Such an amazing experience and one I won’t forget! The guide, Heather, was fantastic and was very knowledgeable as just being super sweet and kind. When we called the tour was full but she let us join anyway which was such a blessing! The forest was amazing and I even got to hug a eucalyptus tree! Highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting The Big Island!

45 years ago this forest was cattle grazing land completely deforested, now lovingly restored ... - Botanical tours, an open air "temple" for yoga and sound baths, and more activities and events... feels remote and timeless, but is less than 20 minutes from the airport... a wonderful entrance to the Hawaiian experience...
