A Great Adventure! - My husband and I went on the 3 pm whale watch. This is near the end of humpback season here in Hawaii so we didn't expect to see much humpback activity, but just really wanted a fun few hours on a boat ride. We did see a momma and baby whale up North and the captain was great at turning the boat so all passengers could see. The naturalist onboard did a wonderful job of telling us all about whales and answered all questions. But, the best thing ever was when a huge whale jumped completely out of the water right in front of the boat and stayed suspended horizontally for what seemed like 10 seconds before it crashed back into the water. It was not the momma, but an escort whale none of us had seen before it jumped. We were all surprised, in awe and basically in shock at how close, big and impressive it was. Even the captain and naturalist were speechless! It was the best thing ever. We saw no more whales, dolphins or sharks after that, but it was not for lack of the captain trying to find other wildlife for us to see. We boated south, out to a fish aggregation station and into Kailua Bay. But, after that close encounter, we were not disappointed that we didn't see anything else. The boat we were on is new and very comfortable. Cold drinks were provided. Some passengers got a little seasick so if you are prone to that take a pill before going. This boat can go fast and covers a lot of ground. The captain kept an appropriate distance from the whales at all times, but the one that jumped in front of the boat as the captain said "was completely unexpected" and he immediately stopped the engines and was respectful of the whale's presence. All is all it was a great trip. I highly recommend them.

Amazing whale watching! - We had never been on a whale watching cruise until yesterday and it was fantastic! We saw so many breaches that we lost track, and the crew was wonderful! We made a lifetime memory on our 40th anniversary, something we'll never forget.
