What a fun morning! - This was our second time with Kona Boys for the same tour, 4 years apart. Bamm was our wonderful guide. We were well informed about the marine life and the preservation effort Kona Boys make to replenish the coral population. Lunches were tasty and we appreciated the effort to accommodate to our vegetarian diet. The nice cold drinks were a nice touch. Thank you Bamm for another memorable kayak experience across the bay to a beautiful snorkeling spot.

Dolphins!!! - My sister and I had a great morning on the water! We were lucky enough to see some spinner dolphins putting on a show and an active reef while snorkeling. Bamm was our guide- he is knowledgeable, patient and strong (a must as entry and exit points required a helping hand). Lunch was yummy- loved that it is was from a local bakery.

A must do! - This was a great trip. It was the best snorkeling we had on our entire trip. We even saw some dolphins. Frank in the shop was so friendly we felt like family instantly. Evan was an awesome guide. His knowledge of the history of the bay gave us the opportunity to look for things as we paddled and snorkeled. I would highly recommend this trip.

Great snorkeling tour - I highly recommend this company and the snorkeling tour to the Captain Cook monument. Bamm gives a great tour. Not only did we see tons of different types of fish, we learned about this history and science of the Bay. When I come back to the Big Island I will be a repeat customer.

Beautiful Morning on the Water! - Had an amazing time with Bam and Michael (Evan at checkout was also great)--they were kind, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and passionate about conservation of the Hawaiian environment and wildlife. The water was incredibly clear and with their guidance, we were able to enjoy beautiful views while respecting the land and water. I would not have wanted to navigate it on my own! The lunch they supplied was fresh and delicious, and they even gave us recommendations for restaurants for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend Kona Boys!

Let the pros handle it. It's definitely worth it! - So, my wife and I were in Kona a couple of years ago. We decided to "rent" kayaks on our own. What a mistake. The kayaks were subpar at best, and when we got the capt cook monument, we realized that without a tour guide, you can't go on shore. Getting in and out of the kayak without stepping on the coral reef was almost impossible. So, on this trip, we decided to rely on the professionals. Kona Boys were great! Our guide, Bamm, was so professional and knowledgeable. He put the kayaks in and out of the water for us. The kayaks were perfect, and the seatbacks were also comfortable. The snorkeling in the bay was wonderful. With a guide, we were able to get out at the capt. Cook monument, and they even had a great lunch for us. It was a great experience. Highly recommend Kona Boys!!!

A perfect morning kayaking and snorkeling with knowledgeable guides. - The morning kayak and snorkel trip was fabulous. If you want a more active kind of trip, this is it. The kayaking was lovely- conditions in the bay were perfect. Clear blue water as we crossed the mile across the bay. Not so far to be exhausting or hard. The snorkeling at Captain Cook Monument was the best we experienced on our trip to the Big Island. Lots to see. The guides were kind and knowledgeable and fun. Evan was super knowledgeable of the flora and fauna as well as the history of the island. Lunch was delicious. Gear was top notch - was better than the snorkel gear we rented for a few days from another shop. The trip was everything and more than we could have asked for.
