We had a great time - We had a wonderful snorkeling trip with Captain Rick and Devontae. Fun ride on the zodiac out to the reef, and the reef itself was fantastic. Great tropical fish and other aquatic life. Rick and Devontae were fun, informative, and kept us all safe.

Great RIB boat snorkeling adventure - This was a great small group snorkeling adventure on a RIB boat. The captain and mate were very knowledgeable and ensured everyone's safety. The snorkeling equipment was in good condition, and the snorkeling itself was amazing. Additionally, this small group tour was about the same price as the much larger snorkeling boat tours, and it offered a much better experience.

Five stars is not enough! - We booked this adventure/excursion through Celebrity Cruises and couldn’t be more thrilled with the day. Captain Colin and his first mate were fun, funny, friendly, and knowledgeable. Colin’s extensive boating experience and longtime research work with a marine-life nonprofit worked hand-in-hand when he was able to get us up close to a pod of pilot whales. He shared with us so much about the beautiful animals we were quietly and respectfully floating among—including a baby he estimated was only a week old! (Whales not guaranteed on every trip, of course, but wow, did we get lucky.) The snorkeling was fantastic, and exploring the geology of the volcanic coastline on the way back to the starting point was super cool too. Don’t skip out on a water day like this when you’re visiting Kona!

Best activity experience! 100 out of 10!! Highly recommend!!! - It was honestly the coolest activity I have ever done in my life! Before we got to the boat they passed out reef safe sun screen while we waited in a short line. After we were loaded on board they took us around 15 miles out along the coast. Marco was telling stories and facts along the way. We ended up at this beautiful cove. It was breath taking to say the least and pictures don’t do it any justice. Marco went over some safety rules for the day and Amy got us set up with fins and snorkel gear. We hopped in the water and saw fish, reef sharks, eels and a ton of other marine life like sea urchins. After about an hour in the water we got back in the boat and we were welcomed by fresh fruit, sodas, water, juices and bags of local kettle cooked potato chips. As we headed back down the coast Marco stopped at a cool monument and told us about the history that happened there. He is a great story teller! Along the way back we stopped at some beautiful sea caves and the coolest looking lava tubes. We saw a pod of spinner dolphins (about 15 of them) and the later we saw 2 bottle nose dolphins. They were literally swimming next to the boat playing. We spooked a young hammer head shark and he flipped out of the water to get away from us lol. It was by far the coolest activity experience of my entire life!! From the moment we were in the hands of Amy and Marco we were taken care of! They were kind, attentive and so generous with their knowledge! This was an 100 out of 10 experience and would absolutely do it again and recommend everyone reading this review to book it today for you and your family!

Best snorkeling adventure - We had a wonderful time. The zodiac ride was a fun roller coaster ride. Was so much fun. The bay was very stiff which is great for snorkeling. Some great fish. Recommend you take an early time because this area gets busy. They have noodles to use which was great so you can take breaks without having to dog paddle the whole time. On our way back we saw spinner dolphins and a sea turtle. Great trip.

Best Excursion in Hawaii! - So … my 8 year old told me that he had three highlights from this tour (and basically Hawaii) #1: Devonte. #2: The snacks #3: His new license for a roller coaster! … Mom, Dad, and brother loved captain Rick and … yes Devonte is hilarious and a sweetheart. The snorkeling was so amazing. This crew hits all the fun-o-meter! Mahalo! Worth every cent! Devonte… Justin said good luck with your one…. (Hundred) girlfriends 🙌🏻💯

Amazing and family friendly trip with Captain Ashley! - We had an awesome 4 hour snorkel tour with Captain Ashley today! She was amazing with our kids and family, and she took every opportunity to make sure to maximize our trip. She even spotted manta rays and had us jump in the water to snorkel with them! We saw dolphins, sharks, fish and rays today, along with learning some fun stories about the Big Island history. I highly recommend this trip for anyone, and Ashley is a lovely captain and guide!

Would recommend - Great snorkle spot, the best one that we have done. Would recommend, higher quality corals and fish than you would find closer to shore.

Did Not Get Full Time - We did this excursion off our cruise ship with this company. I tried to book separately but was told I had to book through the ship which was a lot more expensive. For the price we didn't even get the full 4 hours. We left around 8:30am and we're back around 11:30am and my daughter and I would've liked to snorkel more for the price we paid. Also my daughter was feeling very nauseous on the way and when we were asked if we were ok I told them how she wasn't feeling good and I was ignored. Other passengers gave us some advice for the way home how she could watch the shoreline to avoid feeling sick but the people running the tour didn't help at all. Also there was no heads up about the stops on the way home so we could have our cameras ready and the history given was super rushed. I felt like the captain had other places to be and we felt a little ripped off by the whole experience. The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of one was because the actual snorkeling was really fun and we saw a lot of interesting things. Otherwise for customer service I would give one star.
