The Kona Coast waters, from Keauhou to Kealakekua Bay, are among the calmest throughout the day in Hawai’i - shielded from stronger winds from the East by Hualalai Mountain. As we navigate south, the clear waters of Kealakekua Bay offer some of the finest visibility in the whole state and a plethora of stunning coral reefs to explore. We supply instruction, snorkeling equipment, floatation apparatus, and also feature a high dive and two 15-foot water slides so that you can experience this marvelous location to its fullest during the afternoon!

Great family snorkel! - Wonderful snorkel cruise! Loved that they have several options to see the coral beyond snorkeling like boogie boards with viewports or just floating in a tube with a floating viewfinder type thing. Though a large group, there was plenty of space and did not feel crammed. Crew was professional and kind. Chill relaxed vibe, not a party boat. Highly recommend!

Family Fun Snorkeling Tour - Snorkeling near Captain Cook’s Bay was an unforgettable experience. We encountered a manta ray, a pod of dolphins, and the reef was bustling with an array of colorful tropical fish!
The staff were helpful and very friendly. I highly recommend.

Excellent snorkel trip! Crew, boat, and equipment were top notch. Very impressive operation! - Professional and personable crew, safe and clean boat, water slides and diving platform operated safely. We had our own snorkel gear, but they do include theirs to use as well which looked to be in good shape. Included a snack of fresh pineapple and sweet potato chips. Soda on board was $1 with free refills. Free reef safe sun screen. Everything about the afternoon was fabulous!!

Excellent snorkel tour - Our experience was excellent with Fair Wind! The boat was big, clean, and had great flushing toilets! We went to Cooks Monument in the afternoon and the water was extremely clear with tons of coral and fish. We slid down the two waterslides and jumped off the high dive! Overall it was excellent!

Amazing experiences ! - Amazing experience with a great crew!! We saw dolphins as a bonus and baby goats on the cliffs. You can only access the Captain Cook monument from sea so that was really special to see. It is a bit of a rocky ride so if you experience sea sickness, this may be a bit rough for you:(

Perfect trip - A perfect snorkeling trip to Captain Cook. It was also comfortable for the family members who didn't want to spend much time in the water. Nice big boat with lots of space, the waterslides are fun, the crew is professional.

Great for all ages! Something to do for everyone! - This was such a great afternoon. I went with my husband and four boys, ages 10-14. I knew some would like the snorkeling and some wouldn’t so it was awesome having the fun boat with the slides and platform to jump from. The crew was fantastic and took great care of us. One of them showed off his diving skills from the platform which was fun to watch. The captain was great and even pointed out some whales and dolphins along the way! I loved the snorkeling and got some great underwater videos. Exceeded expectations. Recommend for kids of all ages. Something to do for everyone!

Great staff, great trip - The staff was very nice, professional and also fun. They provided a great experience. Kealakekua Bay is absolutely gorgeous and totally worth the trip. The bathroom facilities were immaculate. The only reason I didn't give them an excellent review was that the snorkel gear was subpar in my opinion. That being said, it did the job for what we needed. Not really a big deal, but they should really provide free soft drinks.
