The Best Big Island Experience! - Our tour guide Katie was very knowledgeable and hospitable to our family. We learned so much about Kona and enjoyed amazing sights at the National Park. A very full day and worth the investment. Lovely!

Best tour in Hawaii - Katie was an AMAZING guide! Her tours were the highlight of our trip! She answered all of our questions and she is very knowledgeable and kind. Can’t recommend her enough! 10/10!

Great tour of the Big Island - Kate, our guide, was great. She was fun, informative about the Island, responsive to interests of the group. Lunch was included and it was great. Snacks and homemade bread were also available. Wonderful day spent exploring the Big Island with a wonderful guide. Would definitely book with Hawaii Guides again and will recommend to friends/family visiting the Big Island. Mahalo

Great sight seeing tour with - This small group tour allowed us to visit some of the island’s highlights in one day with an outstanding, knowledgeable guide in the comfort of a lovely Mercedes’ van. The views of Rainbow and Akaka falls, Valley of the Kings, and volcanoes were fantastic. We will return to our favourite places on our own. Our guide was Derek Stuart. He was friendly, entertaining, engaging, accommodating, and extremely knowledgeable about all things Hawaii. He answered all questions and was curious about the people he was guiding. An all-around nice human to spend the day with! He also made recommendations for other tours and activities. We’re so glad we did this tour. It’s a long day but we’ll paced with many rests between stops. The lunch and snacks were great. The tour was worth the price and we’d recommend it. Simone and Barry

Fantastic Tour - Our guide, Dominick, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The sites were amazing and the background information provided at each stop was interesting. The vehicle was very comfortable. The meals, snacks, and beverages were perfect.

Great tour - Our tour was great. Katie, our tour guide,was incredible. She was very informative and made our tour very special. Our family had a wonderful time. We loved the volcano nation park and waterfall. Katie also introduced us to many yummy foods on the island. Great experience.

Experiencing the Big Island - I’m from Alabama so every stop I experienced a new adventure. The water falls, tube, the black sand beach, the National Park, volcanoes and the food. The scenic view was breathtaking. The tour took us around the entire island so we experienced so many climates in one day. The waterfalls were amazing and peaceful. The Hilo downtown was very a great history lesson. The Volcano was amazing because I was actually looking at an active volcano. Standing over the steam was like a chemistry lesson up close and personally. I’m 62years old and I will never forget how excited I was to take the tour and how that experience will last me for a lifetime. Our tour guide Dominique was awesome. He was so personal and very knowledgeable about the island. I learned so much about Hawaii from him.

Great experience and fun with family, kids love it. thanks - Walking through the lava tube was great, looking down at the vacano ,see the steam coming out the vacano was great, water fall was huge , Dominic our tour guide was great, very knowledgeable of the history, all about the island, the places to visit. thanks

No Way To Travel - The tour company(Hawaii Outdoor Guides) failed to show up for our scheduled 6:30 pickup. No call from the tour company at all. We waited from 6:15 til almost 8:00 am and no call. I left a message with Hawaii Outdoor Guides and did NOT receive any sort of follow up call from them apologizing. Perillo Tours did get an answer saying the guide was ill. Would not recommend any business with a company that operates this way.
