Highly recommend the Hale Haoloha Luau! - What an incredible performance! The dancers were very talented and in particular the dancer that did the fire dance was amazing. The whole night was an exhilarating experience! We came early in the day to watch the chefs get the coals really hot and then wrap the emu in leaves before burying so it could cook all day. The roasted pig (emu) was our favorite part of the luau’s buffet. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and so we splurged on special seating in the front row. It was worth it!

Beautiful Luau - This is a lovely luau. I’ve been to about four others over the years and this was my favorite. Fun games for the whole family before the meal, good food, generous drink service, and an amazing show post-dinner. The performers were excellent, as was the host. We upgraded to the ali’i experience and thought that was worth it for the front row seating and other perks. Beautiful way to end our stay on the big island.

Well worth it. - The food was delicious. Very organized. Beautiful grounds. The show was tremendous that included beautiful Hulu and fire.

Great experience - Very professional, delicious food, activities that allow you to be involved in the experience, and very good entertainment from the singers to the dancers.

Great Luau! - This was such an exceptional experience!! The food was so delicious. My husband is on a pescatarian diet and there were plenty of fish and vegetarian dishes for him! We had our own personal table just with our family. The Luau show was amazing! Loved the story telling and background information prior to the dances. The fire dancer was spectacular.

Elegant intimate lu'au - From the moment we were greeted we felt the warm spirit of aloha. Excellent food and friendly customer service from the wait staff. Probably the best lu'au food I've ever had! The show was heartwarming and captivating. Performers were beautifully dressed and looked liked they were having lots of fun on stage. There wasn't a dull moment from start to finish. Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike.

Best luau on the island - We had a lovely time at this luau. We purposely booked this one as it seemed the most intimate compared to ones closer to Kona. We were not disappointed. The venue was absolutely beautiful and tastefully decorated. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was fantastic and the show itself was beautifully curated. I would go every night if I could have. If you’re going to book a luau this is the one splurge a little more to book, it is well worth it.

Best luau on big island - This luau was great! Took our family amd it was very beautiful. It was intimate with about 80 guests. Food was amazing and dancers and host were great! Our kids also loved seeing the pig dug out of the ground. Bonus was we got bead leis so we can take them home to remember our fabulous time. Highly recommend this luau.

Great luau for families - The Hale Hoaloha luau is a great family luau. My son and daughter, 9 & 6, enjoyed playing the Hawaiian games in the lawn before the show (challenging their parents) and seeing the imu getting dug up. The grounds are beautiful and spacious, and the stars were out full force at night. The food was delicious, especially the poke. The dancers and costuming were amazing. The MC was fun and a great singer. You could tell all the cast members enjoyed putting on the show together. I liked how the show brought in educational elements about the island’s 5 mountains and caring for the islands. I also really enjoyed the authenticity of the Hawaiian dance and chanting. It was truly like being welcomed into their home.

Amazing Lu’au - Lu’au at Mauna Lani Reosrt, what a delight! Amazing show, food and hospitality. I loved the cultural showcase done through dance. MC was very entertaining, my brother was invited on stage to do a dance and he loved it. All staff were very accommodating, we were running late, they called us to check-in, escorted us to our table, food was really good, we are vegetarians; no meat, no fish, no eggs. Staff were very knowledgeable on the ingredients, had plenty of options of us as well.
