A Journey Through the Heart of Hawaii

As I embarked on my journey along the Hamakua Coast, I was filled with anticipation. The day began with a visit to the Hawaii Tropical Bioreserve and Garden, a sanctuary of over 2000 species of exotic tropical plants and orchids. Walking through the meandering trails, I was enveloped by the vibrant colors and intoxicating scents of the flora. The bubbling streams and the distant roar of the ocean added a symphony of natural sounds that heightened my senses.

Our guide, Dreu, was a revelation. His knowledge of the island’s history and legends was profound, and his passion for the land was infectious.
