Educational and fun family tour. - Educational and fun tour that both my 8-year-old daughter and I both enjoyed. Close to Place of Refuge. Easy to do both in a day.

Fun learning about honey bees! - Very interesting to learn about bees and honey production at Hawaii. The video explained key info and about the company. The live demonstration was fabulous, as was the honey tasting and his descriptions of each honey we sampled. Definitely recommend if you're interested in knowing more about bees! It's geared more towards adults. Kids would probably be interested in the demo portion though when you get to see the hives and the bees! Plenty of parking on property.

Fabulous beekeeping tour on the Big Island - The tour guide, Joe, was hands down the best we’ve ever had and we’ve taken many tours! He was so informative and made it fun. He was a crack-up. Give the man a bonus please. We learned so much about bees in general and also about beekeeping. We live in Utah which is the “beehive state” so it was all very relevant for us.

Great Driver, enjoyed well, Delicious house dinner - Sri Lanka Drive My Trip - The Perfect Experience I can't praise Nisal enough for the incredible 10-day adventure in Sri Lanka. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for showcasing the country's beauty made every moment memorable. From historical wonders to hidden gems, his guidance was invaluable. Thanks to our guide, it became a journey of a lifetime. I highly recommend Nisal for an enriching and delightful travel experience. Last day of our tour we was end up in kandy for shopping some ceylon tea, and some local organic spices it was asome, good price for value, and same time our driver Nisal he was invited to dinner at his home, nisal wife made for us classic srilankan rice and curry really delicious, it was a wonderful evening with a lovely family. Thank you green lanka tour, future visitets this is the best driver you can trust 100%,

Fascinating up close bee hive tour and honey tasting - We had a wonderful experience. The guide was very knowledgeable. He was able to teach us about bees , and then show us the hives . He took apart the bee hive to show us new bees being “ born “ , the queen bee , and so much more . It really was fascinating! It was all done with the protection of a screen between us and the hives , so I felt completely safe . We then learned how they are able to get the different flavors of the honey and the laborious process of moving the hives to different parts of the island depending on what is blossoming at the time . We finished by tasting the honey . It was a great experience. There were kids in the tour and they had a great time as well !

Taste amazing honey while you learn a LOT! - Joe and the whole staff were wonderful. We arrived late but called to let them know. They were able to still make sure we had a great experience. We learned so much and were so thankful we made the out of the way trip to this property. LOVED their honey and took some home for us and for gifts. Joe's experience with the bees was fun, light but really informative. We appreciated his "teacher" style by trying to engage the participants with a give and take approach. This was a change from other tours and we are so grateful we decided to go on our last day on this island.

Great insight about the extreme importance of bees in maintaining balance with the food supply and environment. - We learned a lot from the guide who is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about bees. Visitors are safely behind a screen. The only thing is that I felt that he kept repeating himself as if he was stretching it out to have the visit hit the assigned time frame. Having a bit more about the practical part of the challenges of this important field would have enhanced the tour.
