Enjoyable Family Tour - This was a great experience for our family. Our daughters (ages 14 and 11) enjoyed seeing the property and learning about the coffee process. Although they are not coffee drinkers they even enjoyed the coffee and tea tastings. The length of the tour was perfect for our family.

Excellent coffee tour - Excellent tour. Sarah, our guide, provided a rich history of the farming and making of the Kona coffee bean. She showed the plant, and the process to remove the husk from from bean. She explained why organic Kona coffee may no longer be available because someone imported infested plant which contaminated other farms. Very sad. After the presentation, you have the opportunity to sample different coffee A unique opportunity to see first hand coffee preparation.

Private Coffee Roasting Tour - The owner performed a full roasting cycle while educating us on every step from the seedlings at the nursery all the way to a brewed cup of coffee. It is quite the process from start to finish and you will come away with a new appreciation of Kona Coffee!

Kona Coffee Farm Tour (Free) - This was one of 5 coffee farms we visited - this one was probably also the most "intimate" experience and where I must admit at first when we parked the car I asked myself a question "did we go a bit too small/too intimate" when choosing our tour here I can tell you after the fact that I could not be happier with what we experienced here, and btw. it's a free tour and in that "free" part you get to sample one of their coffees that is served that day as well. Now if you want to sample more then a flight of 3 french press coffees is just $12 - there were about 10 of us/ 4-5 groups of couples so we actually ended up choosing some different roasts/beans etc. and sharing so everyone can try more - not because we were cheap, because it's sooooo much coffee to drink :) you want to try and take good stuff with you home, not get a heart attack while looking for it hahah The tour itself is very informative and personal, there are also 4-5 doggies on the property that are very friendly so the roam around during your visit :) and some crazy parrots in the background a few houses away making sounds like pterodactyl... haha grounds aren't big but you see pretty much what you would see at every bigger coffee vendor - the tree/orchards, processing plant (smaller details here) and then of course the highlight of the show is the coffee drinking/sampling/learning about different "shapes and sizes and flavors" TIP: prices like with any Kona coffee are pretty high but not the highest we had seen and everyone can find something here for themselves, we loved the Natural one the most and ended up taking a bag with us - if you want a small one and they don't have it at the moment they can open the bigger bag and make the small one for you, we witnessed one of the guests being helped this way and found it to be super nice on the Hala Tree's end not to force to buy bigger bag, respect!
