Whether you’re a zipline devotee or an adventure newbie, this Kohala zipline escapade in Kapaau, a quaint town at the northernmost point of the Big Island, will be a thrilling experience you’ll always remember!
- Participants must weigh between 70 and 270 lbs (32 kilograms and 122 kilograms) and WILL BE WEIGHED AT CHECK-IN. Guests will NOT be refunded if they do not meet the weight restrictions.
- Lightweight pants, capris or knee-length shorts, and a light sweatshirt are recommended
- Guests must wear close-toed shoes
- Minor children require a parent or guardian to sign their participation agreement, and children between the ages of 8 and 13 require an adult to zip with them
- This tour is not recommended for expectant mothers or those with back or neck problems

Kohala Zipline Station located in Kapaau in North Kohala. Driving directions from Kona/Kohala Resorts:
• Take Highway 19 (Queen Kaahumanu Hwy) north to Highway 270 (Akoni Pule Hwy).
• Turn left on to Highway 270 and continue approximately 21 miles to the intersection of Highway 270 and Hawi Road.
• Turn right on to Hawi Road. Kohala Zipline is the historic yellow building on the left behind the gas station.

Outdoor Fun & History Lessons! - We had a WONDERFUL experience with our group guides Cody and Davyn. They were so knowledgeable about the course, their duties and local history. We learned so much, on top of feeling very safe and having a really great time. Who knew we'd be getting so much fun history and factoids!? We would highly recommend you book this adventure. Communication was excellent, and navigating was very easy. They also have a lovely gift shop with great items, so bring your credit card! Thank you so much, Kohala Zipline!

Even 70 year olds can enjoy this! - Learned a lot about the area. The guides were professional and we all felt safe. Great sense of humor too. Repelling off the last platform was fun.

We had a great time! I... - We had a great time! I was super nervous since I’ve never been zip lining before but Davyn and Brogan were very professional and personable- they made me feel at ease. Definitely recommend! If you get motion sick I would recommend taking something for the ride up to the zip line - it’s a dirt road and very bumpy.

First time experience zipline - Best experience and it's one checked off my list. The staff was very helpful. Both experienced conductors were very knowledgeable and they informed us of all the safety and how important to stay informed in all zipline and bridges. Very helpful and fun sense of Humor. Nothing but positive attitude. Decker and tami were very fun to be with. Would definitely go again.

Incredible - 60’s plus Couple. From the moment we walked in all the staff were friendly and helpful. We might have even met THE Auntie Aloha upon arrival. The scale they have you weigh-in on is also gracious 😂 Our tour guides Rogan and Nick were patient, encouraging. In addition, on the ride up the mountain our guides provided historical facts and some histories of Hawi and surrounding towns. Such a bargain for the adventure. Truly loved our experience 😘

Fabulous Zip Line Experience - Beautiful scenery. Energetic and knowledgeable guides. Zip lining is about more than getting on and off the lines. There is the whole experience that surrounds it. Davyn and Kanoe made the experience a delight with their smiles, stories and unrelenting commitment to our safety. Well done!!

Excellent Experience - I've been on a number of zipline tours in different places and this was one of the more professional and organized tours. Our guides were Decker and Boo-Boo. The safety talk was thorough, with enough humor. I appreciate that they laid a very strict rule that they would remove us from the tour if we touched the carabiners. More zipline tours involve zip, walk, zip, walk, while this had a bunch of fun bridges to get us between the ziplines.
The lines had a plastic sheath, which resulted in a smoother ride and better braking. I usually don't like the burn of braking (even with gloves on), but I noticed that braking was way easier and smoother this time around.

Well worth the time and money! - There were 8 of us and we all had a great time. It was a fun memorable afternoon. Boo-Boo and Davin were wonderful guides - professional, friendly and so knowledgeable. Definitely recommend Kohala Zipline Adventure!
