Whether you’re a zipline devotee or an adventure newbie, this Kohala zipline escapade in Kapaau, a quaint town at the northernmost point of the Big Island, will be a thrilling experience you’ll always remember!
- Participants must weigh between 70 and 270 lbs (32 kilograms and 122 kilograms) and WILL BE WEIGHED AT CHECK-IN. Guests will NOT be refunded if they do not meet the weight restrictions.
- Lightweight pants, capris or knee-length shorts, and a light sweatshirt are recommended
- Guests must wear close-toed shoes
- Minor children require a parent or guardian to sign their participation agreement, and children between the ages of 8 and 13 require an adult to zip with them
- This tour is not recommended for expectant mothers or those with back or neck problems
- GUESTS MUST CHECK-IN 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO TOUR TIME

Kohala Zipline Station located in Kapaau in North Kohala. Driving directions from Kona/Kohala Resorts:
• Take Highway 19 (Queen Kaahumanu Hwy) north to Highway 270 (Akoni Pule Hwy).
• Turn left on to Highway 270 and continue approximately 21 miles to the intersection of Highway 270 and Hawi Road.
• Turn right on to Hawi Road. Kohala Zipline is the historic yellow building on the left behind the gas station.

Great experience! - Such a friendly outfit!!! Everyone had a smile and time to chat. The guides Tammy and Eli were engaging and funny. The zips and bridges were easy and exciting. The forest was magical. Everyone should give it a go. You won’t be disappointed.

You can do it! - I am 80 years old and was somewhat apprehensive about my first Zipline adventure. It would not be a good choice for seniors with arthritis or mobility problems, but if you are in reasonably good shape, you can do it! It was a lot of fun, and the crew (leads Curtis and Kanoe) were great. Very helpful, encouraging, and knowledgeable not only about the technical aspects, but also about natural and cultural history of the area. For me the most challenging part was the rope bridges. I managed them, but I wouldn’t say I liked them. The zips were exhilarating! It seemed perfectly safe. A friend, who is a retired petroleum engineer, did the same zip last year; and he was favorably impressed with the safety measures. I would love to do it again!

Kohala Zipline is a must if you are in the area! - My Children and I had a great time visiting Kohala Zipline. The staff and guides were great! Everyone there made the entire experience enjoyable, from dad and children zipping around, to my wife hanging back... (bridges weren't her thing). I highly recommend visiting these folks!

Don’t miss out! - From start to finish this adventure was perfect! Brogan and Eli were knowledgeable, safety conscious, and so much FUN! Highly recommend this for families as the memories will last forever!

Grab this cable, IT IS STABLE! - Our tour was AMAZING and Coty and Brogan made the experience so much better than we could’ve possibly expected!! They were so much fun while demonstrating their focus on safety at the same time!! Coty shared so many cool facts about the island and his experiences that made it so interesting. We would recommend this experience to anyone we know is going to the Big Island!! And if anyone is concerned, don’t worry because when you “grab that cable…it is STABLE!!” Haha

Great day to Zip line - It was AMAZING but a little scary for a 65 old lady. But sooo much fun and glad I did it. It’s off the bucket list. The two guys were great. Encouraging is scary cats the whole time.

I’d do it again. - This zip line was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone. The guides were super amazing, Shawn and Brogan are the bomb.

Incredible - This excursion was so much fun! Noe and Dekker made the trip so much fun. We learned alot about the land and natural surroundings, in addition to the awesome zip lining. Totally worth it!

Azuza Del parks - This was the greatest Zipline in Hawaii
It rain so much so I recommend a change of clothes after
The staff was great
If you are afraid of heights , uneven bridges I don’t recommend
