Whether you’re a zipline devotee or an adventure newbie, this Kohala zipline escapade in Kapaau, a quaint town at the northernmost point of the Big Island, will be a thrilling experience you’ll always remember!
- Participants must weigh between 70 and 270 lbs (32 kilograms and 122 kilograms) and WILL BE WEIGHED AT CHECK-IN. Guests will NOT be refunded if they do not meet the weight restrictions.
- Lightweight pants, capris or knee-length shorts, and a light sweatshirt are recommended
- Guests must wear close-toed shoes
- Minor children require a parent or guardian to sign their participation agreement, and children between the ages of 8 and 13 require an adult to zip with them
- This tour is not recommended for expectant mothers or those with back or neck problems
- GUESTS MUST CHECK-IN 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO TOUR TIME

Kohala Zipline Station located in Kapaau in North Kohala. Driving directions from Kona/Kohala Resorts:
• Take Highway 19 (Queen Kaahumanu Hwy) north to Highway 270 (Akoni Pule Hwy).
• Turn left on to Highway 270 and continue approximately 21 miles to the intersection of Highway 270 and Hawi Road.
• Turn right on to Hawi Road. Kohala Zipline is the historic yellow building on the left behind the gas station.

Fantastic experience - Had an amazing time, highly recommend it. Curtis and Matthew were great guides, funny and very safe. The area was beautiful. I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

Little scary, lof ot fun - My wife, nephew (18) and I had so much fun on this tour. Kodi and Brogan did a great job entertaining us and making us feel safe. We were all somewhat afraid of heights, which made the bridges a little terrifying, but the zipping is so much fun. We were so glad we did it. It's also a great reason to go visit Kohala, an interesting and unique part of Hawaii.

Very special way to experience Hawaii! - This adventure was a highlight of our trip to Hawaii. Our guides, Curtis and Eli, were AMAZING! Equally committed to our safety AND our fun, and wonderfully able to relate to all ages, our one boy who chose to stay home was regretting that decision based on how we talked about our guides alone! The ziplines offered beautiful scenic views sprinkled with the fun of floating through the forest. We learned a lot about Hawaii too. Definitely will do this again --- and bring boy #2 w/ us! If you're debating, DO IT.

Must do - The different zip lines and bridges were so much fun! Plus the guides gave us history of the area, including the agricultural background and small towns. The scenery was beautiful as well.

Ziplining in Paradise! - This was my third time ziplining on the Big Island with family and friends. I live on island and this is my favorite outfit! Curtis and Eli were so fun, informative and very safety oriented. This was one of my sister's "bucket list" adventures and it didn't disappoint for her 70th birthday celebration! 🥳

First time Ziplining - The instructors were very knowledgeable of the equipment and also the surrounding history of a former plantation. At first I was nervous due to never doing this before but the instructors and staff were very welcoming and encouraging. If any friends, family, or coworkers go to Hawaii I would definitely recommend Kohala Zipline to them.

Don’t miss this! - This was an amazing experience. Everyone we interacted with were wonderful but a special shout out to our guides. Curtis and Decker were amazing. Shared history of the area and pointed out items of interest (including food suggestions!). They were very safety conscious and rechecked our gear at various intervals.
The location itself was gorgeous. We prefer to actually zip in the tree canopy and this course delivered. Highly recommend this adventure.
