We will take you on a 45-minute adventure at one of the Big Island’s most beautiful beaches, Old Kona Airport. Join us at sunset or in the early morning to capture posed and candid images of your ohana on vacation!
After the session, we will have 100+ proofs ready in just 48hrs! You choose the images you wish to keep. View your proof images in person or online. This package includes 20 digital images of the 100+ we’ll have to show you. The more images you buy the better value you get.
Because of the way Viator works, we default bookings to Old Kona Airport Beach. However, we offer more beach locations including beaches in Waikoloa. Please contact us after booking to discuss our different beach options.

One unforgettable photoshoot session - Had the most unforgettable family photoshoot with Hawaii Family Portraits! 💕 What began as a simple session turned into the sweetest surprise proposal for our daughter. Even with the tsunami warning, everything fell into place perfectly the next day. Hanna captured every moment with such beauty, and Andrew made the photo reveal so fun and heartfelt, it truly brought me to tears. 🥹 Can’t wait to book with them again on the Big Island! Highly recommended - I could not recommend Hawaii family portraits enough. I booked them months ago and Andrew, our photographer could not have been more helpful. Helping me find the perfect location and surprising my wife with a family photo shoot. Our pictures turned out amazing and we received the proofs within a week.

Great experience - We had a great experience with Hawaii Family Portraits! Hannah is super friendly and had great communication leading up to our session, during and after. She helped us all to feel relaxed and captured some great photos of our family. I am so glad we will have these keepsakes from our trip together!

Family photo of 15 for Mom's 85th - We had a great experience working with Brittany, She was professional yet easy going and able to work with our large family of 15. She captured priceless photos of the whole family together as well as smaller sub groups and made sure that she took multiple photos of everyone. The lighting and setting at the beach was terrific and overall I couldn't be more thrilled with the end results. Highly recommend them, I did a phone consult for a $100 discount and it was helpful to talk through questions I had as far as location and timing. A really positive experience for everyone. Great Experience with Professional Photographer - This was our first experience using a professional photographer for an extended family photo session. Hannah was so easy to work with! She did a great job communicating throughout the process. The process of viewing the drafts & obtaining final photos digitally was easy. We will definitely work with this business again when on the Big Island & want a family photo session.

Spectacular Amazing Gorgeous - This was one of our highlights of the entire trip. We had all 9 of our direct family (kids and grandkids) and they even had a blast. Sunset at The Old A beach was so memorable. Our photographer (Andrew) was so amazing. He knew what shots to take. Highly recommend this.

Outstanding photograph and personable service - I spent several hours searching to find a family-friendly photographer that could photograph our large (27 people!) family while we vacationed in Kona. I made the right choice. Our photographer, Hanna, made our family feel very comfortable and to relax. She was efficient, so the younger kids didn't get impatient. She was fun and personable. Here shots were amazing - wonderful placement and lighting. Hawaii Family Photos was very good to work with; they went the extra mile to make sure that I was happy with their service. I highly recommend them!

An experience you will cherish! - Our photography experience was absolutely amazing! We initially booked this as a graduation photo session for my son, but we went ahead and used it as an opportunity to get a few family photos, as well.
Our photographer, Hannah, was extremely professional and personable. She kept in constant communication with us both before, during, and after the session. She was always quick to respond to any questions or needs that we had. She captured some amazing sunset photos and took full advantage of the different backgrounds available at the beach location.
If you are at all considering this, I highly recommend that you do it. You will not regret it!
