Great tour/driver - Rodney was awesome! He took us to some really neat houses, and had the knowledge and insight to make our trip enjoyable and interesting! He is a great driver, and was able to avoid high traffic areas with great experience! Enjoyed every minute! Steve, Lindsay , and family.

Big Bus LA - The driver (Rodney) was incredibly entertaining and knowledgeable about the area. There were plenty of great size to see.

Good way to see the highlights - Great way to see the main sights when you don't have a lot of time. The ride is long, especially if you do both lines. Best to do just the red line. Blue line is basic, but good to see the beach

Good Highlight of Tinsel Town - The bus tour highlights the most popular attractions in the city with good information on the recorded playback. I would recommend stopping at several of the listed stops to better appreciate and experience the city.

Not a great route - This tour is an automated narration, frequently out of sync. The route is limited, we couldn’t see much of what they were talking about. For example the bus takes you to the back of Paramount Studios so you see a bunch of beige office buildings. It would be too far to walk around to the front if you’re challenged. The narrators and music are definitely sappy. Not a good value for $54 each. We did enjoy the sunny CA weather though!

Terrible. - Don’t do it!!!!! I was soooo disappointed. We tried for two days to even get on this damn bus. Day one I drove from manhattan beach to redeo drive and parked so I didn’t have to worry about missing the connecting bus to the beach! However, we missed the first bus by the hair of our chinny chin chin. That’s fine, they come every 30-45 mins.. Jk! We waited in the dead heat for almost 2 hours!! My 5 year old was loosing her mind. Needless to say that was the end of that, we gave up waiting and went back to the car. Day two, I took an Uber from manhattan beach to santimonica we went and enjoyed the pier while we waited to hop on the bus. I had figured this was going great! I was watching on the app and Headed toward the bus stop (still took an hour and a half from stop 9 to stop 16) I thought we were at the correct bus stop. I had to use google maps because the app directions aren’t totally clear.. anyways.. I was in the front of the hotel, not behind based on picture I thought I was in the right spot. I was very confused when the bus app showed the bus passing by us. anyways I tried to hurry to the next stop which was stop 19.. my 5 year old wasn’t able to keep up speed and we also just missed it. I didn’t have 1.5 to 3 hours to wait for the next bus. Thumbs down. I was left with a very disappointed kid and down almost $200 CAN. And a tour I didnt even get to explore. I did see multiple sightseeing los angles tour busses while we waited, in both the right and wrong spot. How I wish I would have went with that agency. I would have gotten on a bus at least.

Waste of time and money - .L.A. is not a city for this type of hop on hop off bus tour. We spend more time waiting for the bus and in traffic. Waste of a total vacation day! I’m so disappointed that we opted for this tour.

Crap - Appalled by this booked before we came to los angeles paid 92 dollars for 2 one day passes Waited almost 3 hours for a bus to turn up to be told it was the last bus of the day and to get off the bus. Still waiting for a refund and will take it further

Not worth the money other options should be considered - Bought a 2 day pass and the first day was so bad, we opted not to use the second day option that we had paid for. We also were unable to get the app to work and book the VIP Chinese Theater tour on either day. It took 1.5hrs for the trip from Hollywood to Santa Monica and 3 hours for the trip back. The commentary was out of sync all day, and by the time the overview was providing details we were already a good 500 meters past the point of interest. We have experienced other Big Bus tours and have been impressed, but the LA one was a huge waste of money and more importantly time. The stops were also nowhere near the points of interest. Big improvements are needed to make this an enjoyable and feasible option.

WHY DID I EVEN BOTHER TO BOOK AHEAD ??? - I booked this tour months in advance.....It would have been nice to know that the Tour company canceled my reservation to be able the use the bus on another event before I got here !!! That is why people book, is to reserve.??? What a hassle. YOU COULD HAVE SENT ME AN E-MAIL OR A TEXT OR A PHONE CALL....OR EVEN MAILED ME A LETTER. I made the reservation months in advance. If I wanted to risk not having a tour, I could have done it myself.
