Budapest with a view - We bought a 3 day ticket for the price of 2 from one of the sellers at the many bus stops around the city. It’s worth haggling to get a better deal than the online price. The buses were never more than 10 minutes wait and there were always top floor seats available to enjoy the views. A great way to navigate the city for a 1st time visitor.

3 days on a hop on hop off bus - Great way to see the city and get off to see what you fancy. Always do this in every city we visit to find out where everything is and learn about the history. Recommended for Budapest as you go to both sides of the Danube.

Great way to see the city - The Big Bus is a great way to get an overview of a city if you are visiting for the first time. We did find the accent of the English speaker a little hard to understand at times.

Great way to see all of the sites in Budapest! - The bus took us to all the important places in the city. There was a stop next to our hotel that made it very convenient. The river cruise was great! We took the last one so we saw the whole city lit up at night, beautiful!

Unfortunately it was... - Unfortunately it was raining and the open top buses had plastic sheets for windows and the downstairs windows had film over them so you couldn’t really see much. The tour would have been better depending on the weather,

Typical tour - Typical hop on hop off. You never know what side of the bus the guide is referring to when describing the location.

A useful way to get around but the audio guide is not very good. - A fairly good way to get around and have used the same thing in London, New York, Barcelona. This was the worst by a long shot. Various stops of over 10 minutes with no explanation. An overly long monologue via the headphones about how the artists like to eat ham, ham and cheese, chees and ham or just cheese sandwiches. Long after we have passed the building related to the story. In the meantime no explanation of numerous giant monuments passing us by. Stopped for over ten minutes nest to a giant square with a giant statue and massive impressive buildings and not mention on the audio guide as to what it was. Really bad. I still think it is a good way to kinda have a way to get around if fed up walking but the audio guide is pretty bad tbh.

Worst bus tour service in Europe - Not worth buying a ticket. The bus routes are extremely rare. Although it is advertised that the frequency is every 10-20 minutes, this is absolutely inaccurate. We had to wait over 45 minutes at every stop for the next bus. Also, there are not clear signs at the bus stops. Overall, I would not recommend it.

Waste of money - Terrible. A complete waste of money. We paid approx. 40€ each. You could not see anything through the plastic roof, bad audio in the headphones as well as you would have to pay extra for the bus up to the castle, even though it said it was included in the ticket.

Don’t go on a rainy day - It was a rainy day so the buses had to put the tops on so you couldn’t see much as the windows were all fogged up. Additionally the audio in the bus was terrible so you couldn’t understand much when stop numbers were provided.
