The forest tour is very scenic and your guide can stop anywhere along the way if you wish to get out and take photos. Your picnic guru specializes in vegan & gluten-free options. Inquire for seasonal menus. We also offer gourmet curried chicken salads, GF homemade muffins/cookies, vegan salad with coconut dressing, & the best beet salad you will find on the mtn for an additional cost.

Your guide will enrich your experience with stories about the history of the Big Bear Valley before giving you some peaceful time to enjoy a leisurely lunch amidst nature. We’ll give you a menu with various options, which changes according to the season, when you make your booking. I will meet guests across the street from the Oak Knoll Lodge at the intersection of Mill Creek Road and Tulip. I will be in a black Subaru SUV. Guests can follow me from here a short driving distance to where they will park. Guests can hop in my car from there for the forest tour.

Amazing vegetarian and vegan options. - We book this experience with Amber as we are vegetarians and vegan in our family and Big Bear really has not great food options. If you have dietary restrictions. Amber's menu of gourmet salads and gluten-free muffins for absolutely delicious. We were also so thrilled that she took us to a spot where there was snow or our dog to run as we have the picnic. This winter. There's been absolutely no snow anywhere in Big Bear and it was such a lovely surprise. The area was just unbelievably beautiful as well.
After going or such a great experience, we also decided to book her snow play experience the next day of our vacation.
We absolutely loved that our dogs could run off leash on all of her experiences and it gave them such a great time.

Unexpected Adventure at Big Bear Lake, CA - Amber was the perfect tour guide! I’ve been to Big Bear Lake before and thought I wouldn’t see anything new but was I ever wrong. Amber took me to Bluff Lake for a little hike and then surprised me with a beautiful and tasty pop-up lunch. She knew the perfect place. Along the way she was very knowledgeable about Big Bear Lake history and also was up to date on current Forest rules and regulations. She says she also guides snow shoe tours. I’m ready for my next adventure with Amber!

Scenic views, fog filled trees, nature all around. Definitely worth it. - My jeep guide took me back into the scenic wilderness of Big Bear, sparking memories of all of the times I'd been as a child. Saw huge trees, wild flowers, fog covered lake and Big Bear from the top of a mountain. Amazing views and great guide. Definitely give the tour a try! Oh, I forgot about the great meal they provided too!

Superb Tour of the local trails - Fabulous tour with a local knowledgeable host. Great drive into places you would never normally see. Great lunch and the host was very accommodating with the set up.

Sunning Big Bear picnic view! - Amber was an amazing tour guide. My main concern was my safeness and she made me feel safe the moment she approached us. She has an amazing kind energy and is very knowledgeable with Big Bear local plants, fruits and their animals.
We did the Big Bear Lake tour in which we did a small hike and lastly we ended our day with a picnic and having the most stunning lake view.
I loved it all!
