Comprehensive food tour - Great evening trying a huge variety of different Turkish foods. Most of which were new to me. Ideally I'd have liked a few more sweet / dessert stops, but then I do have a sweet tooth.

Great variety, great taste! - My friend and I are visiting Istanbul for a few days, and we booked this tour last minute. Despite us being the only ones, Salih gave us a lovely tour of the Asia and Europe sides of Istanbul, and we tried lots of amazing foods and drinks. Highly recommend to any foodies!

Highly recommend dinner in Asia and desert in Europe - What a wonderful experience. The knowledgable guide was interesting and informative. We went to a food market in Asia and try a variety of local produce and dishes. From olives and pickeled vegetables to Turkish "pizza", kebabs, chicken wings, soup and, my absolute favourite, a mussel bar with - kid you not - the best mussels I ever had, that came from the Black Sea. The ferry ride back to Europe let us end the evening at a restaurant specializing in deserts, for baklava, Turkish ice cream and weirdly wonderful kunefe.

Do this tour!! - Fully recommend this tour! It was just me and one other person that evening, and Salih was a fantastic guide. Not only had he picked out nothing but fantastic spots to get food, but he was incredibly knowledgeable about everything - the food, how the dishes were prepared, local history, you name it! If you do this tour, don't eat beforehand! There was a lot of food, and it was so tough to pick a favourite meal as everything was delicious!! Definitely recommend booking this if you are visiting Istanbul!

Fabulous experience - We had a wonderful evening sampling foods in a market we wouldn't have otherwise discovered. The ferry ride to/from the Asia side was fun, and dinner on the Asia side felt so authentic. The neighborhood was quaint and full of residents of Istanbul. Burak exposed us to wonderful foods and traditions, spoke beautiful English, and was gracious and patient. We enjoyed learning and talking from him. On the tour, we made many stops in the market, sampling an array of foods, both on foot and sitting at tables. The perfect combo! The evening ended with dessert on the Europe side - one of the best desserts we've ever eaten - and Burak walking us to the tram back to our hotel. Do this tour!
