easy tour for cheese and chocolate - Smooth transfers in between the sights - knowledgeable guide. Cheese house you get the audio guide to stroll through the exhibition. The free time at the village I used to have a nice lunch. Then got transferred to Chocolate factory with a funny interactive tour. The tour is easy, if you follow the instructions of the guide / driver, as he also handed out the schedule of the day.

varied day - Loved the tour, as it was very varied. Had time at the cheese factory. Then discovered the town after a short transfer. Got a lot of chocolate after another short transfer. Tour guide was fantastic, we were well informed where to go and where to meet again.

A tourist destination - The cheese factory tour was interesting but, like most factory tours, it's more like a museum with exhibits and very little seeing actual production. The medieval town was just an accumulation of restaurants, coffee shops and souvenir shops. We didn't have time to tour the Gruyere Castle. Not much else to see.
