Recommend for first timers - Recommend doing this on one of your first days so you can get the lay of the land, see what you'd like to revisit. The info on the tour was very interesting. Would recommend doing earlier in the day to avoid commuter traffic. We got caught up in a massive thunderstorm and a bit of flooding so the roof of the bus had to be shut in the downpour. Still pretty awesome and got to see most things.

Very helpful and friendly staff - The staff were great for this service. He sold us the tickets and said they would be good for another 2 hours after they expired the next day. That was great of him. They go to all the major locations and even stopped at one or two which weren't official stops. We were confused though at the end of our day as to the stopping place at the Victory Column. It wasn't where the other companies were stopping so we saw it disappear in the distance, down another road. The map in their brochure is vague. We were tired so ended up catching a Taxi.

If I had known there were other bus choices, I would probably have hopped off - The guy selling me the ticket in the kiosk couldn't have been nicer. We bought two days--the blue and the purple tours. In hindsight, it would have been better to hop off the first tour at the stop the two tours had in common (stop #8) and boarded the second tour--and have done both in the same day. Hind sight is always 20-20. By failing to do that, we had to repeat the first bus tour almost completely to get back to the point from which we began the tour. They use a pre-recorded voice (in your choice of languages) from headsets that sometimes worked well, sometimes poorly. When we got on the 2nd day, the bus driver couldn't have been ruder if he had tried when we asked at which stop we could connect with the purple tour. When we finished the purple tour, there was no attendant on the premises who worked for our bus. The people working for the other tours were kind enough to answer our questions to help us get back home. I'd NEVER take this tour again. I've taken these kinds of tours in London (terrific), New York City (also terrific--but BOTH with a live guide and not a pre-record) and Berlin (crummy). I thought this tour was the only real dud of the entire trip to Berlin.

Poor experience from hop on to hop off - We purchased the ticket in the bus at Alexanderplatz, and immediately discovered that almost half of the headphone inputs in the bus weren't working. Sitting in our respective seats (we couldn't find adjoining seats that worked) we found the commentary and information slimmer than we had previously experienced in such a trip. We jumped off to explore the (monumental) holocaust memorial and when we proposed to hop on the next bus, the driver informed us that alas, we wouldn't be able to finish the round trip because the service ceased at 17:00. So our best option was to take a 30 minute walk back to our starting point. When we purchased the day ticket we weren't informed that we only had a relatively short timespace. Overall a very poor user experience, I'm afraid.

Awful bus tour - don’t waste your money - Firstly the audio system was useless - kept cutting out and changing languages. The descriptions of all tourist places were terrible. Do not use this service and take a guided walking tour instead

AVOID THIS SERVICE USE THE RED BUSES - Avoid at all costs this is a disgusting service the buses are few and far between not every 20 mins as stated they don’t have bus stop numbers or time tables and the on bus information through the headphones is space The red bus seemed more frequent Apparently every weekend there is a demonstration in berlin the bus left us stranded and stopped running at 5pm we were an hour walk away from our hotel However if we wanted to pay 35 euro we could of used the bus to visit the lights RIP OFF i will be making a complaint

Terrible — audio covers more shopping than sights - This tour mostly highlights shopping — in favor Of featuring shopping opportunities they skipped Kaiser Wilhelm Gedächtniskirche and Checkpoint Charlie — both incredibly important in Berlins history. I would prefer to get my money back and in the meantime can only warm anyone: if you want to learn about Berlin, take your business elsewhere!!!!

A notch above Stazi - Online tickets could not be read, so the lady had to write it down manually, which she did taking ample time to converse with her colleagues making us Mia the bus. The alacrity they show in not picking up passengers were only matched by the once every 45 minutes frequency. Other tour companies went and stopped twice before their bus showed up. Perhaps it is covered in their works council contract not to be polite or apologetic when screwing up. There are better options in Berlin, don’t waste your time.

Disappointed - Booked tickets for Sunday but no buses went on this sunday! Email with customer service they said they would refund me but instead they still sent out my ticket . I was very confused and asked Saturday one of the busdriver he said „ no buses on sundays“ I am mad how could I book ticket for a day buses are not scheduled for ?

Terrible - I have used the hop on hop off system in many countries & always been satisfied. However, this bus service is TERRIBLE! The bus drivers don’t give a toss about their clients - they are grumpy & when they see you waving them down to stop, they just ignore you and drive by! This is also because they don’t tell you where their pick ups are! It is shameful they are allowed to operate like this. I recommend you try a different bus service!
