Wonderful relaxing cruise - Wonderful relaxing cruise. We spent a lovely hour on this historic boat cruising the River Spree. Very comfortable wooden seating . We sat on deck although the inside looked quite comfortable. Commentary was very interesting and the quiet mechanics of the boat meant it was easily heard. Professional bar service and friendly staff made for a wonderful experience. So glad we picked this boat.

Good way to see Berlin whilst resting your legs from walking! - Great trip that showed us a variety of sights in Berlin. We booked about one hour before departure to keep sightseeing whilst it was raining! Not a big boat which meant it was not crowded. There was a selection of drinks and snacks you could buy onboard and bathrooms below deck. There was a commentary for most of the trip in German and English. Good value for the one hour trip.

Bag map pin to launch point cost me $75 and a missed trip. Be careful. - (Read other reviews too, I’m not the first to have this experience) I love Berlin boat trips. I live in Berlin and take friends and visitors on nice days to cruise the Spree. This time I booked a trip with Flagship Berlin: I downloaded the Pass card to my wallet and from the pass details I clicked the link to the destination for boarding. And I set off following my directions toward that destination. Only, there was no boat there where I arrived. I clicked a second time on the link. I was at the river. It had to be close. Nope. The Bettina-von-Arnin-Ufer was nowhere to be seen even as the map told me I had arrived. So I called the number on the pass for FLAGSHIP. No answer. Having walked toward a boat landing in the distance and seen it wasn’t for Flagship Berlin. I turned around and I called a second time; still no answer. Having turned around and became a bit panicked, continued to walk about 5 minutes from the false map pin and spotted the boat that I recognized from pictures. As I walked up with my friend, the boat was still docked, and they refused us boarding. It was exactly 13:31. I was 1 minute late. Panting and smiling. Asking to board. I was given a dismissive wave and told that it was my responsibility to be 15 minutes early. Ok….i said. But the map pin was incorrect. Had I been sent to the correct place I would have been 15 minutes early. It here I am and the boat is still here…. They untied and pushed off without us as the other guests looked on. I am out $75. OUCH I’ve applied for my refund but there’s been no response from with Flagship or Viator. But remember how I had said how I take these trips often? I recall now being on a Flagship boat (the two I now have seen are very special and different from other company’s. boats) I recall that the last time I cruised with them there was a spectacle on board with a very angry captain that shouted at many guests and was even yelling at people after they left the boat. It was very disturbing…something about an umbrella that belonged to the boat that guests were trying to use to block the sun while sitting on the boat…was not a good experience. There may just be a culture problem at Flagship Berlin. . I know I have now felt disappointed and treated badly twice: the first trip as a participant in the overall boat trip where the vibe was crushed and this time being rejected to board in spite of the boat still being tied up. I mean it’s a river cruise for tourists. We are all excited to sit in the sun and listen to an audio track on history of Berlin. Lean in and deliver a great experience. To the crew: BE a great experience for your guests.
