This visit allowed us to go off the beaten track (by tourists, so us...) to see both behind the scenes when we know a little about the “new” beautiful areas of Berlin, and to tackle another facet of the history of this extraordinary city.

An exciting off the beaten track tour - An exciting visit with Jean Charles who introduced us to the formerly neglected Kreuzberg district, home only to workers’ housing, adapting to the various waves of immigration and protest political currents and then becoming attractive due to the artists’ installation, its location and pressure from property developers and investors. All this is illustrated by a street art journey, rich in anecdotes about artists and local histories adapted to the evolution of this working class neighborhood torn between those who would like to keep it as it is and those who want to change it. Thank you again for these 3 hours that we did not see pass!

A beautiful meeting, long live Berlin! - Beautiful. I came across the site shortly before my departure and booked 3 visits the first 3 days.
