Must do walking tour with Freddie! - We bought the 48hr ‘essential’ ticket so it also included the walking tour and Currywurst. We did the full red & blue routes on our first day which was useful to get our bearings of the city. The audio guide was very informative and interesting. A must do is the walking tour with Freddie, he is a very friendly and funny guy. Originally from London but has lived in Berlin for decades so has loads of knowledge of the city. He is a very good storyteller of Berlin’s past history. Definitely recommended! We all agreed it was the highlight of our trip 😁

App - Some descriptions of attractions were not thorough. Research before you go. Use the Big Bus App. The aviator app did not work.

Good, but tedious - The audio tour was mediocre and slightly out of sync. Too much time was spent sitting at bus stops. Worth doing in nice weather, but I wish it were less static.

Delivers what you arel9okibg for! - Except for stop 10, this is exactly what to do! It was a beautiful day to sit up top listening to the recorded notes presented in a very friendly way. The music while waiting and waiting and waiting at stop 10 was nice. As long as my Kaffe had a lid, it was allowed onthe bus.

Too Long - The hop on hop off bus was so long as it sat at so many of the stops so it was not as good as it has been in previous years. The sights are still well worth a visit though, love visiting Berlin

Revie - Pre-recorded info is flat and bland. Having someone 'real' on the bus makes it much more interesting and the humour is better too

Too long stops - The information while driving was good. The constant stops annoy for up to 10 minutes at a stop. When the driver takes an additional 15 minutes break, it is a bit too much for us. With that knowledge, we wouldn't do it again.

Bigbus, but not on holidays! - The helpfulness was very variable! One day you had a helpful person, the other day the opposite! We had a 48h ticket which contained both the blue and red route. Although I definitely do not recommend the blue route! These are 4 stops, with nothing to do. The red route is very extensive. But beware! Don't take this route on a holiday! The buses run until 6pm. If you then ask if you can take another bus back to the starting location just to be sure. They say yes. Then when you get on the bus at stop 9 and the bus driver bluntly says that stop 10 is his last stop, 'because it's a holiday'. Are you standing there and you either have to walk for more than an hour or buy a tram ticket. The only positive was the guide we had on the evening tour and guided day hike. He made this experience a very pleasant one.
