- Museum Island - One of the world’s most significant museum complexes, Museum Island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you’ll see Berlin’s beautiful historic boulevard, Unter den Linden. Capture sights like the Berlin Cathedral, the reconstructed City Palace, the Old Museum, the Old National Gallery, the Pergamon Museum, and the Bode Museum.
- Bebelplatz - After Museum Island, you’ll visit the Forum Fridericianum, which includes the State Opera, the Law Faculty of Humboldt University, Humboldt University itself, the State Library, and Berlin’s first Catholic Church, St. Hedwig’s Cathedral. In the center of the forum is Bebelplatz, known for the infamous Nazi book burning in 1933, commemorated by a memorial.
- Gendarmenmarkt - Next, we arrive at the stunning Gendarmenmarkt, home to the former Royal Concert Hall, the German Dom to the south, and the French Dom to the north. This square is considered one of the most beautiful in Europe.
- Checkpoint Charlie - Our tour then takes us to Checkpoint Charlie, one of the most famous Berlin Wall border crossings, nearly the flashpoint for a third world war.
- Topography of Terror - Along the former border strip, you’ll see original sections of the Berlin Wall and the “Topography of Terror,” a documentation center on National Socialism located at the former SS and Gestapo headquarters. Wunderbar! - We were searching for a tour where we would see all the sights. However, my other half has mobility issues and has difficulty walking sometimes. Our search led us to Levent. He was above and beyond our expectations. The day we had selected ended up to be a bitterly cold (and icy) day. Levent was the consummate professional. He made us feel like his task was effortless.
He was very I formative and had fun and interesting facts to share about so many people, places and things.
Thank you, Levent for your gracious service and hospitality. We had a wonderful time and I hope we see you again.

Fabulous!!! Rating of 10 out of 5!!! - The best and only way to see the sites!!! We arrived in Berlin a day before our group tour began and had booked this four-hour rickshaw tour for our free day. Our fabulous guide, Gregor,
covered 100% more of the sites in 4 hours than our group bus city tour did the next day. In the rickshaw, we were able to go to many places (such as through the Tiergarten Park) that a bus or car cannot. Also, our guide was able to stop any time we wanted to take photos. We are traveling for three weeks, and this tour was absolutely a highlight.
