- Friedrichshain - With your group of up to 12 participants. You will first meet at Salami Social Club in the Friedrichshain district. You will then be guided around this fascinating neighborhood in the capable hands of your local guide. During the tour you will sample at least three local craft beers (depending on location), hand-picked by your guide at three unique locations. Along the way, your guide will tell the stories and history of craft beer and the craft beer scene in Berlin, as well as local stories you will only hear from a real Berliner. You’ll get an intimate look into this new and growing niche movement. By the end of this 3.5-hour tour, you will not only have the ability to identify different styles of craft beer, you will have gained an appreciation for the culture of Berlin as a whole. Each tour ends at a different location, depending on which bars and areas of the city your guide takes you.

Embark on a personal journey through Berlin’s niche craft beer industry. This tour, spanning 3.5 hours, will take you to three distinct breweries specializing in craft beer with exclusive brews not found elsewhere. During the tour, you’ll be guided through a tasting of 4 to 6 crafted beers. The tour includes a hot snack, with options to accommodate vegan and vegetarian diets. You’ll get to learn about Berlin’s thriving craft beer industry, delve into the science behind brewing, and gain a rich understanding of cultural, political, and historical ties to beer production. We do not offer pub-crawls.
Non-alcoholic options are available, provided we receive a written notice at least 48 hours in advance.

100% recommend. Exceptional tour. - Cliff’s knowledge, delivery & story telling is exceptional. He was interesting & entertaining. We went to places we would otherwise never have found & learnt things about beer we would never have known. 100% recommend this tour.

Awesome!!! - Cliff is very nice tour guide! He gave us a very thorough history of beer and the citiy of Berlin! My friends, and I really enjoyed the tour with a wonderful group in our wonderful tour guide. we learned about the brewing methods and the ingredients that goes into beer and and what makes Berlin beer, special and different from other beers.

The best beer experience tour - One of the most interesting tours around Berlin, accompanied by an interesting guide and accompanied by tasty beer.
The trip was organized for 25 people and I think that I can say on behalf of most of them that the evening was successful and interesting. The beers offered during the tour surprised with their variety of flavors, and Cliff brilliantly created the atmosphere by telling interesting facts about beer crafts.
What to expect from the trip? Lovely atmosphere, lots of interesting facts about Berlin and beer brewing, and above all, the opportunity to try great beers!

Learn about craft beer! Highly recommended tour! - I've done beer tastings before and visited craft breweries in the US, and I've even taken a stab at brewing my own beer at home, so I was shocked at how great and informative this tour was. Clif did a wonderful job of teaching us about the German beer culture, even down to the specifics of how beer is made. It was fascinating and fun. Plus, of course, we tasted some wonderful beers and had some good food besides. This is an outstanding tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Highly recommended.

Totally worth it! - The tour is amazing, not only you enjoy different kind of beers but also you learn some very interesting historic facts that enrich the visit to Berlin. It's totally worth it and the guide is extremely easy going and guides you to the sommelier experience in craft beer. Really a must if it is your first time in Berlin

Crafty - Definitely nice to try something unique and different rather than the typical German beers. Our very first beer was by far the best, and it was great to have someone so knowledgeable as our guide

Tour Debacle - We very much enjoyed the fellow participants on our tour:) Sadly, we did not have Mr. Cliff the rockstar beer tour guide:( Our guide was new, arrived late for the tour, and ended our tour early. She was very unorganized and did not seem to deliver the material about craft beer very well. She had us wait to taste the beer offerings until she was done speaking and then rushed us to finish the samples once allowed to consume them as we needed to move on to the next stop. Lastly, she placed a collection bin on the table for gratuities making the group feel uncomfortable and awkward. Disappointing:( Thank goodness for fun tour mates:)
