Good tour with history and food - Our first stop was at the fish market where we had tasty fish cakes followed by a cinnamon bun and brown cheese. We strolled more of the area learning more history. We walked through a historic alley where we had dried cod. We went up a hill to a restaurant where we had very good lamb soup. We walked further up the hill to an area where we had great views of Bergen. Our next stop was a coffee shop where we had "apple pie in a glass" which was basically hot apple cider with whipped cream on top. It was delicious. We then walked down the hill to near the starting point. There was one more stop but we had to leave early due to booking another tour. Celine, our guide, was great and the food was good. We throughly enjoyed this tour.

Wonderful Bergen experience - Ivan was outstanding. Informative friendly funny and considerate. The tour was 3.5 hours long and we learnt so much. The stories and the history really was a perfect way to experience the city. We walked alot and ate and drank some things I had not tried before. I would highly recommend this.

Very informative but don’t go expecting to eat a lot - We found this walking tour very interesting although, we did not have as many tastings as with other food tours in other countries. Our guide was informed on the history of Bergen and if she didn’t know the answer to our questions, she looked them up.

Too much talking, too little food - The guide was friendly but went into too much detail on historical stories, and struggled with English which prolonged his presentation. One of the foods was dried fish from a convenience store.
