Informative and friendly - We really enjoyed this tour with Emma. Learning about the city's history is great, but the real highlight of this tour is its second half, when Emma put the city into context with discussion about present-day life for Bergen's residents. We learned about everything from taxes and jobs, to the housing market in Norway. The walk was well paced and easy, and you definitely get a good introduction to the city. I have been on history and "intro" type tours all over the world and this one, thanks to Emma, was one of the best.

Amazing walking tour in Bergen - This was our first time in Bergen and Emma was our guide. The walking tour was everything we could have asked for and more. Emma was knowledgeable and made everyone feel comfortable. Emma provided us with not only the history of Bergen, but also information about the locals, living in Norway, great recommendations for food. I would highly recommend this tour with Emma

A fantastic walking tour of Bergen - Emma was a fantastic tour guide . She gave a great insight into the history of Bergen . It was wonderful to walk through the narrow streets above the city and see why people love to live in Bergen. Emma gave recommendations of other places to see and visit. A wonderful walking tour with a company which keeps the size of the group to under 20 people.

Excellent walking tour - Neil was a great guide. He has lived in Bergen for 30 years and answered everyone’s questions. Pace of the walk was good for everyone. We went behind the wooden buildings and saw businesses that you wouldn’t know were there from the street. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Fun stroll through history - This was a wonderful tour. Eirik, my guide, was knowledgeable as a local and as someone from a family of historians. He took care in organizing the spots and his information very well, and in an entertaining manner. The entire trip was a light stroll through Bergen, injected with local culture, historical and economic information, and entertaining anecdotes. He was a very patient and easy to talk to guide. I highly recommend this tour.
