Viator oversells tour and tells no one - bus left without us - A step above internet scam! Utterly shocked at the disorganization and miscommunication between Viator and local company. We purchased tickets, were charged, and received confirmation codes and tickets. We arrived on time, but were not picked up by the tour as they had no record of our reservation! Viator took our money and oversold the tour without informing us or the local tour guide. We then had to spend hours arguing and proving we were there on time and the right location. The representative argued with us that we were late despite having proof we were there early for the pick up. They were even going to call other paying passengers in order to prove we were wrong. We asked how they could leave without 2 passengers and thier story changed multiple times to explain the mistake. They finally recognized that the mistake was made on thier end and THIS IS A KNOWN REPETITIVE ISSUE WITH VIATOR. We are waiting for our full refund, but have been totally thrown around between guide and Viator. Very unimpressed by the creation, reaction, and lack of a solution.
